Was there for a softball tournament. Got there around 10:00pm to check in and nobody was at front desk. We called the hotel # about 5 times and yelled hello for 30 minutes and nobody came check us in so my husband called the cops to do a wellness check since nobody seen the worker in hours. She finally comes out and my husband asked her if she was ok and she was acting very weird and not talking much. The cop shows up and took some info from her and told my husband he’s glad he called the cops cause she was only 15 ! So we finally get to our room and the ac didn’t work so we had to go back to the lobby to switch rooms. We are definitely not staying there again!

The staff was amazing and it was so quiet and peaceful the pool was clean and open my room was clean and comfortable the breakfast was good

I booked this place for 4 nights since the location was right for me at a good price.
Plusses:
-great price
-free breakfast
-Cracker Barrel within short walking distance
-front desk was helpful
Minuses:
-broken office chair
-gloomy, cavernous hallways
The occupancy rate seemed to be low judging by the number of cars in the parking lot. Overall, good value though.

My family and I had three rooms and everything was just as the picture appeared to be. Mr. MIKE was very helpful and the staff was very pleasant throughout our stay. We will definitely return. The kids enjoyed the comfortable beds and the warm pool.

I booked a last minute reservation to visit my daughter at LSU. The property is not around much. When I arrived on Thursday, the property seemed very old with that old smell. The hallways were barely lit. The curtains had holes, the lamp shades stained and the bases rusty. I was initially going to try to find another hotel but had been traveling since 3:30am. I used my disposable sheets and wiped everything down. I had a mediocre breakfast on Friday. On Saturday when I woke, there was a bug on my shirt- a bedbug. I swatted it off onto the air conditioning unit. I immediately bagged my belongings and went to check out. When I informed the front desk clerk, she immediately called the manager. The manager came and confirmed it was a bedbug. I was very upset basically thinking I did not want to bring that home. I found a laundry and washed everything I had and found another hotel. I didn’t sleep because I was concerned about bedbugs. I do want to acknowledge that the staff was extremely nice but I wouldn’t recommend staying there.

Staff were kind and helpful, especially housekeepers. The pool was nice and the location convenient. Breakfast was good. Could probably use some upgrades here and there but we were happy with our stay and will return.
