I paid for an upgrade which looked like we had a walking shower for my wife who’s on a walker. Our room had a tub. Had to move rooms.

We had reservations at the hotel next door only to try to check in and being told they canceled our reservation. With no place to stay we went next door to the Wingate. Precious at the front desk was so helpful finding us a room there and helping us get the best price. Hotel was clean, good beds, and everything we could ask for.

Emotional distress and unpleasant experiences
I was given a room that someone else had already stayed in room 218, after they double booked my room. And the other person got to get a brand new room, while I was told I couldn't have a new room. Then the room’s toilet was broken, so I had to move to a new room ok another level, when I got to the room there was a dirty used Blue towel on the ground, but everything else appeared to be kinda normal. Then the WiFi password wouldnt work, i called for help at the front desk and was told by james “There isn’t anything I can do to help you, call our maintenance guy” and was dismissed. Very unpleasant treatment and uncomfortable bed. It was my birthday and I didn’t get to enjoy anything , i was perfectly happy until I checked in the hotel. It made me so disgusted I checked out earlier than my expected check out time. The place literally gave me a headache and I couldn’t get any good rest because of how I had been treated.

We only stayed one night. Ryan, the manager, was so nice after I messed up the reservation. The hotel was very accommodating.
There's a lot of road noise, but it did not prevent us from getting a good night's sleep. Would stay here again.

Bad workmanship
Stay was nice but our room had issues with the bedroom wallboard and bathroom wallpaper. In the bedroom it looked like they painted over badly torn joint tape behind the TV. In bathroom the wallpaper behind the toilet was pulled away from the wall - floor to ceiling. Unprofessional appearance.

Staff was nice and friendly. The room smelt of cigarette smoke. I asked for another room but was informed the hotel was full and was given a can of air freshener.

It is very frustrating for us when guests do not adhere to our nonsmoking policy. We must take the room off line for days to clean the carpets, furniture, walls, etc. This room must have needed additional measures before being released for guest use, and I am sorry for the issue. We do have high powered filters that can be placed in the room while the guest is in the room which are quite effective, and we will remind the team to ensure this option is offered if we have this situation in the future. Check in lady was emotionless. Kept my driving license in error. Only found out as door would not open. Had to return. Was told common problem with locks on doors by a more helpful gentleman on reception. Arrived late. Asked about close places to get food. Little information Hotel. Room all good

我订这间房本来只是想住两晚,有个地方睡觉洗澡,结果酒店只做到了一点。洗澡是个大问题,因为每次开淋浴,天花板上就会积水然后往下滴。这让人非常不舒服,所以我第二晚就没洗澡。我录下了这个问题的视频,退房的时候把顾虑和视频都告诉了酒店工作人员。除此之外,房间和公共区域大部分看起来都挺干净的,尽管我还是自己清理了一些客房服务明显没清理到的地方(比如粘乎乎的微波炉旋钮)。我还觉得电梯里热得让人受不了。虽然外面确实是破纪录的高温,但我还是不明白为什么电梯间没有像酒店其他公共区域那样开空调。至于早餐,对于习惯美式饮食的人来说还行——就是那种高脂肪、高糖的——但对于我这个吃全素食的人来说,就没什么吸引力了。不过,这毕竟是美国中部嘛。
