There was no food but the listing informed us of that so, no problem there. The rooms were very small and we felt the listing misrepresented how it actually was. The air conditioning was a fan. There was a light bulb out in one of the bedside lights. Not knowing the city, we were unaware of what type of area it was in. My husband had been in Crescent City years ago and he mistook this motel for the Curly Redwood Motel where he had stayed and enjoyed.
