Found a roach in the room, and the toilet backed up on the first use. The staff was very friendly but the hotel is sub-par.

The hotel is in need of updating which is in progress. Nice people. Great breakfast. But rooms are not clean. Peeling ceilings and dirty carpets. Kitchen chairs need replaced. We ended up leaving early and hotel would not refund anything.

You walk in and there is some odd smell, there was first a spider on the bed. Go to the bathroom and there is a bug in there, tub is so stained it looks filthy. Go back to the room and there was a stink bug. I laid down to rest a minute because we had been traveling a ROACH walked across my arm. I got up flinging my arm and walked over by the desk to see another bug by the coffee pot. The fire alarm was also taped completely over. We checked out a day early and when I told the lady at the front desk all she said is do you want another room. No, there would be bugs everywhere. We refused to even go to get anything from the breakfast area if it wasn't prewrapped and nothing was. I am filing a claim for the second night because we had to find another hotel 20 miles away.

The wall mounted toilet paper holder fell out of the wall. There was a rather large roach on the wall. The Bifold door on the closet is partially broken. The shower head and the towel rack which should be chrome both are very rusty and should be replaced. In the hallway there are large stains in the carpet. The lobby and the receptionist at front desk was very nice.

We could hear people in the next room. In the halls. But the worst was: people's feet walking and clomping int the room upstairs above our room. Poor soundproofing kept us awake. Cheap construction?

Dirty and smelly
When I arrived, the front desk clerk was really nice, but it took 3 tries to get a room key to work. Once I got into the room, it smelled funky. There appeared to be some possible vomit on the fabric covering the bed frame. The furniture holding the refrigerator was unsteady and rocked when you opened it. The curtains were stained. The carpet is old and dirty. My friends in the room next to mine found several insects, likely roaches. Google lens said they were not bedbugs. The shower curtain is not long enough and water kept pooling on the bathroom floor.
