I needed to find a place to stay half way between Theodore Roosevelt NP and Glacier NP and I found this motel. I always knew it would be basic so I wasn’t expecting grandeur. However it was much worse than I expected. There wasn’t masses of parking to start with then we entered the lobby via an ante room which was an absolute dump and we wondered where on earth we were going. The lobby was scruffy and packed with stuff everywhere. The reception staff were surly, scruffy and unfriendly. The room was tiny and the bathroom really small although the shower did work OK. There was a double bed which virtually filled the room. Next to one side was a rubber luggage rack so absolutely no good as a bedside table. On the other side was a tiny fridge which doubled as a bedside table. There were no bedside lights and limited charging facilities. There was absolutely no room for anything else and I don’t know how we fitted our cases in. It felt very grubby and not very safe. Breakfast was completely help yourself out of the fridge in the lobby although there were several options. Location was OK.
