THE GOOD Rooms have recently been refurbished - TV still had the sticker on it - Bed was clean and comfortable - Bathroom was immaculate - No neighbor noise (only 3 cars for ~50 rooms) - Pleasant (new) owners THE NOT SO GOOD - Place looks absolutely deserted from the curb - No cable TV (Bring your streaming subscription) - Broken ice machine - Pool is empty - No pens in the rooms - Water in shower never got hot; only lukewarm

Curb appeal lacking, but newly remodeled room was perfect and better than rooms at twice the price. New everything. Nothing unpleasant about this stay. Staff was friendly. If you want a 3 star room at half price due to renovations in process, this is it.

I Can't Believe This Place is in Operation! This place, honestly, should be shut down ASAP! I'm not easily shaken, but after opening the door to the room they gave us, I was DONE! It was a complete nightmare! How on earth could they feel that comfortable renting rooms here? Broken lamps, stained sheets, not to mention it appeared as if someone had just gotten out of the beds. The curtains were off track, the sink area was falling apart and the tub had so many stains that it could be nothing more than a germ trap. The tile was patched together. It looked like a toddler tried to repair it and painted it. I just couldn't believe it. We immediately reported the condition of the room and the management "apologized" then escorted us to another room. At the other room, management could hardly get the door opened. That was a RED FLAG. The 2nd room was a joke as well. We reluctantly left our bags and began looking for another hotel, and THANK GOD we found one directly across the street. The Travelodge in Lumberton is an absolute disgrace, an insult to your intelligence and a serious health risk. Save yourself the anger of their balant disregard for your comfort, health and intelligence. Run as fast as you can. My biggest regret is that I didn't take pictures. Anyone who gives this place a positive review is either working for them or crazy.
