The Great Southern Killarney hotel was magnificent! The property was beautifully maintained and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. We highly recommend this hotel and definitely plan on visiting again!

We didn't t have time to fully appreciate the property and its rich history. The room, restaurant and gym were all very nice. It was an excellent location to town and had convenient parking adjacent to the hotel which was a major selling point for us!

Hotel for the Ring of Kerry
One of the best hotel stays we have ever had, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel special and that did not decline throughout our stay. The hotel itself is spectacular but its greatest asset is the staff. Polite and courteous, willing to take time to engage in conversation, from the doorman through to the cleaners, service in the restaurant and the bar second to none. I was allowed to keep my road bike in my room and the welcome pack of energy bars and supplements due to doing the Ring of Kerry Charity ride was a totally unexpected treat, that just goes to show how they make your stay personal. When we return to Killarney the Great Southern will be our hotel of choice.

Favourite hotel stay in Killarney
Very spacious room. Staff as always friendly and efficient. Easy parking.
Only issue was 9pm Sunday morning just after 8am there was noise outside our room- sounded like a saw cutting thru timber or a sander- very poor that such work would be allowed 8n hotel grounds over weekend

The staff was great, friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would definitely come back. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the morning. Plenty of options and lots to select from.
