This unassuming motel stole our hearts during a two week stay as my mother in law went into hospice and then died peacefully. Let me be clear: as someone lucky enough to have stayed in 5 star Taj Hotels, award winning resorts in the Maldives and more, I am no newbie to spending nights away from home. They knew who we were, even at the outset, they offered condolences and bereavement reservation rates to family members arriving later, they printed eulogies, accepted packages. This place is fastidious! Worn, but fastidious. On my many walks with our dog, I noticed how well cared the shrubs are (even in early winter). The many trash cans were faithfully emptied. The breakfast bar was ample but the best was the breakfast lady, very attentive and focused on cleanliness. We have stayed in the Best Western, the Hampton and the Clarion now. We know the competition and the Clarion is the clear winner. Congrats, Sylvia!

Front desk staff pleasant and helpful. Older hotel. not enough outlets in the room. Had to unplug the microwave or frig to turn on the desk light or use coffee maker. Or plugs built into the lights in the room didn’t really accommodate our new phone blocks (too loose). Internet was hard to get on hard to stay on, hard to access. Hair dryer didn’t work. Breakfast had a lot of options and was generous. Lots of parking.

checked in to room that smelled like urine...overwhelming when a/c kicked on. changed rooms after 1st night to what looked like a nice room at first only to find that if a/c wasn't kept on 1 speed that was freezing, the room got very wet, and damp could see dampness on walls and water coming up through laminate floors. had to wipe feet off to get in bed. refrigerator froze everything even almost turned off...dirty dirty dirty place pool was dirty with sludge on walls...Way overpriced and it was blamed on multiple ******* reservations. gross place and manager would not give a break on price that jumped way up night on week ends. This is $79.00 per night place at best. worst hotel stay in my life.

Enjoyed my stay here. It was clean, spacious and the staff were really friendly. We had a two queen room and both beds were comfy. Breakfast was good too. We swam in the pool, which was cold so plan for that. Try the restaurant attached, we had great service and great food.

There are very few things I expect from a hotel, and the title really sums it up. I want the room to be clean and for the facilities in general to be well-maintained. Clarion Inn Seekonk delivered on both fronts and had a friendly and helpful staff to boot. Definite recommend.

Front desk service was wonderful, room was clean and ready when we got there. We stayed 3 nights to sight see in the area. All the staff was friendly, just what we needed coming from NY where everyone is miserable. The breakfast was more than expected for a freebie, hot eggs, breakfast meats plus the regular continental type choices. Great selection of juices. We also enjoyed the courtyard area day and night, comfortable and private. I would definitely stay here again!

Lyric & Chris. Front desk hospitality personified. This hotel is clean, accommodating and lovely. But Lyric & Chris really made our stay pleasurable. They were abundantly helpful, incredibly kind and beyond patient with my barrage of requests and needs. So thank you both very much. GM Silvia is also a gem.

I live in Providence. My wife, whose English is not great, was having hip problems and could not climb the stairs of our apartment. She needed a place which she did not need to climb stairs. We stayed at other hotels; yet this was the best place we stayed! The people and service were fantastic! From the front desk to the breakfast server, to housekeeping; everyone went out of their way to make my wife comfortable. We enjoyed our stay! When we have guests visiting, we will put them up here! Highly recommended!!
