Arrived at the hotel, which was having the entire exterior painted. Yikes. Clearly, the entire place was recently renovated/in process of renovation. Tried to check in early, but the charge was $35, so we passed and headed out to see Waco.
Came back, checked in, went to room. Then it started.
Spider on the bed, roach on the wall, dead bugs in bathtub, cobwebs in corners, pieces of popcorn ceiling that had been repainted dangling, dried and stuck on unknown substance inside cabinets.
Decided to check out. Gloria at the front desk wasn't authorized to refund the charges, told us manager (Norma) would be in the next morning at 8:00am.
Went back next day at 1:00pm, and Alexia told us Norma wouldn't be in until 3:00. (What in the world??) She told me she had no idea why we were told 8:00, because "there's a schedule right there on the wall I can show you." When I mentioned that it was clear she had no concern about our issues, she quickly ran it back. So, we left again and came back later in the afternoon to see Norma.
That was when things turned much better. She immediately apologized for the issues, said she'd gone to look at the room personally and would make sure the proper staff knew what had happened. She printed out a zero charge invoice, apologized again, we thanked her and headed out. Thank you Norma for the very appropriate customer service. It was quite appreciated.

Stayed one night but it was a good experience. Very nice room. Did wash 2 loads of clothes and the dryer wouldn’t work for the second load and they dried them for us free. Right across the street from “Magnolia Table Restaurant” but not really walkable as you would have to cross a traffic circle. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I would never recommend this place given how bad my experience was including the 7 other people I was traveling with. The owner canceled my reservation the day of check in and did not notify me. Gloria, the first desk lady was very nice and tried to help me get another room elsewhere as the owner said they were sold out when I showed up to check in. I ended up staying at the Comfort Inn 5 mins down the road off La Salle. I would highly recommend staying there then this comfort Inn. A couple I was traveling with had to move rooms twice because the air conditioning stopped in different rooms. There was no maintenance apparently and no one to clean the other rooms so Gloria has to clean them causing them to be up all night. Very disappointed in this place and the staff is not treated well by the owner.

First, after arriving back to the hotel at around 11P from an event at a nearby university, my wife and I were unable to gain entrance to the hotel. I tried the side entrance with my room key to no avail (later told that it wasn't working and that I should have been told about this when I checked in), then we walked around to the main entrance only to find the doors locked. When we pressed the buzzer we could hear the phone at the front desk ringing but no one was present. After several minutes a hotel guest came through the lobby and opened the door from the inside. We were told later that the lobby doors are locked for security purposes which is acceptable if the lobby is staffed 24-7. It is not acceptable to lock guests out on a night with wind chills in the 20's. Second, the hotel is located adjacent to a dive bar that advertises that they stay open until 3AM, and it was about then that we were awakened by police sirens and loud shouting from the bar parking lot. I would not recommend families or couples staying here.

I am a Hilton member and usually only stay at Hilton properties, however, when I tried to check in to the Hilton property down the street, I was treated very poorly by the front desk clerk, so much so that I ended up sobbing and left my paid reservation to go down the street and stay at another property. I stopped at the Comfort Inn and Suites to see if they had availability. I was very warmly greeted by Tara who was extremely engaging and kind. When checking in, I was still so emotional about the event that had happened at the previous hotel that I started sobbing. Tara came around the desk and hugged me, encouraged me, and immediately got me checked into the hotel. I had never stayed in this hotel chain before but the room was so spacious and clean! The bed was so soft. There was no noise from the interstate or other rooms. I had a much needed rest. The next morning, I was greeted by the kindest women who were working the breakfast area. I don't remember the workers name, but in conversation, she mentioned her son, Galveston. As I went to check out, the pool maintenance guy was standing near the front desk and he engaged in some lighthearted conversation. Tara was still working the front desk when I went to check out. I thanked her for taking such good care of me and giving me the most amazing customer service the night before. She hugged me again and told me she hoped I have a safe trip home and encouraged me once more. Her kindness to me meant so much. It didn't feel like she was doing it because it was her job but because she really did care. My experience with everyone of the staff members at this hotel has caused me to change my loyalty membership from Hilton to Choice Hotels. The compassion and kindness shown to me was unmatched from anywhere else I have ever stayed. This staff makes you feel valued and it feels like seeing family when you walk in. I was so impressed by the service that I called the GM, Melody Hargrave, and was treated as equally kind. This really was the best experience after a long, tiring, and emotional day the day before. If I ever go to Waco again, this is where I will stay!

We had our extended family book three rooms here this weekend to visit our kids at Baylor. It is the perfect location, almost right across from the university. We found that the staff was great, breakfast was good as well as the rooms were in great condition. They went out of our way to give us any help that we needed. Would recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed at the Comfort Suites Waco on Nov. 24 - 26 2023. I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years from budget to upscale. I am pretty picky about where we stay and try to find clean and updated accommodations with friendly staff when I travel. This hotel was perfect for our needs this weekend. The rooms were clean and spotless. Breakfast was hot and plentiful, and the staff kept the common areas in the dining room clean. Hotel staff was also super friendly! It was a busy weekend with LOTS of families with kids staying at this hotel. With all the hustle and bustle, our room was extremely quiet, and we had no issues with noise during the stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again on a future trip to Waco.

Just plain nasty! Go some place else! Pictures below. Bed was dirty, crumbs on top of comforter. Not vacuumed in a while, bad smell in the room. Hair in bathtub and bathroom sink clogged up. Breakfast nasty. I remember when this hotel was new. Choice needs to sell this one off!
非常干净舒适,周末来这里看比赛住的。
