Excellent visit from start to finish. Host met us outside and took bags up to our room whilst showing us facilities. Very clean and welcoming. Tasty breakfast, cooked fresh. Room was just right for our needs with view to sea and comfortable bed

Stayed at Taunton house on 13/09/25 Gentleman who owns the property was helpful and insisted in.takimg our luggage in. Room was ok clean apart from.the carpet which.could do with a good clean. Bed was comfortable slept well. Only negative point was the cooked breakfast was dreadful. Food was burnt and eggs cremated. He could.do with a new toaster has it had to be done twice then was hard..he didn't spend a lot of time with guests and not once asked if the food was OK. Wouldn't stay again

Had a good Bank holiday weekend at Taunton House Great Yarmouth, Great place to stay clean comfy beds, everything you need for Breakfast, highly recommend, walking distance to Beach and shops.

Great location for seafront activities. The shops are within walking distance. A friendly welcome breakfast is good. Didn't use car at all

Was there for 3 nights. It was a great place to stay. Rooms were very clean, the owners were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was very nice.they also save you a parking space.

Lovely bed and breakfast . The man looking after us there was so friendly and breakfast was delicious. Best night sleep I’ve had in ages and not too close to the hustle and bustle of the town. Very peaceful. We loved it and are definitely going back when we can. Thank you for adding to our wonderful weekend. You were amazing ❤️

very clean and well looked after , room was ok , the breakfast well what can i say , it was awful the food was over cooked and so dry, on the Sunday I asked to cook my eggs soft and runny .....no you came to me with eggs that were so over cooked i could'nt eat them

Very nice stay here . We stayed here for 2 nights and we were amazed and was able to check in early at around 10am on the Friday. The room was rather small but we wasn't going to spend much time in it so we weren't that bothered. Nice to have a sea view as well ( even though its about 400 metres to the beach) Was nice to have Wellington Pier literally up the road for us as well . The hotel is along a side street and parking has always been a problem for me but this hotel had lots of spaces and most importantly free parking along the road near the hotel. Nice breakfast to set you up for the day plus cereals and fruit but unfortunately no yogurt Most important to also say one thing about the owner ( who's a really nice guy , never got his name ) let my wife and I stay in his quest house for most of the day as our car broke down before leaving for home . Tea coffee, cakes and even toast was available while we were waiting. So 10/10 for this guest house. Will definitely be going back sometime. Next time we would like Room 7 please, regards Kevin and Sue
