So, this is a Best Western, and accordingly my expectations were tempered before I arrived.
On the plus side, the staff were outstanding throughout!
On the rather more sizeable minus side....
The "suite" as described on the booking page is nothing of the sort.
In fact I did question I was in the right room and was advised, "yes sir, that is our suite".
No, that is a standard room with a 4 poster bed!
Speaking of the bed.
Sorry but the idea is to have a firmish mattress and softish pillows - not the other way round!
That has to be the softest mattress I have ever slept on.
Food is what you would expect.
Not bad, but not memorable either.
Overall.
If you have the choice, pick somewhere else. I am sure there are better nearby.
If you don't have the choice, don't pick the "suite". You will not be happy with the premium charged for what is little more than a standard room.

Fantastic breakfast, pleasant stay, staff were accommodating. Missing air conditioning the room was very warm, even with a fan.

Attended a wedding nearby and stayed at the Ivy Hill hotel. Very convenient and easy to get to. Room was very clean a little dated but had what we needed.
Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food

Amazing hotel, friendly staff and great service
My stay here was amazing. The staff are all friendly and extremely helpful, the room was clean and nothing was too much trouble. Well done to everyone working there, you are all great. If I'm back this way again I'll definitely stay here.
