The AC filter was very dirty and caused my allergies to flair up. We ended up cleaning it with a toothbrush. The AC was very loud and kept coming on and off. There were no washcloths, the first room they gave us the bed was broken and there was no linen. We luckily had some cleaning wipes with us that we used to wipe off the counters. The area was also very loud. Paint was chipped. The staff was friendly and the TV was good size and had HBO and Showtime though.

Staff was very polite ready and willing to address concerns or answer questions, bed was actually comfortable, and pool was good. Other than that the room was in horrible condition. Booked hotel for a week, Went through 3 rooms before unfortunately due to other circumstances we stayed in. Bought my own Lysol to clean the room. I think staff are doing the best with cards delt, I believe the situation/condition of the hotel is a corporate failure.

HAD BED BUGS.
The toilet barely flushed. The plunger was broken. The bed was uncomfortable. It smelled like smoke. The bed had bed bugs. This place is better off just shutting down.

Our room wasn't very clean. The smoke detector had been stolen and the wires were just hanging from the ceiling but hey, the room served a purpose and the staff were very accommodating!!

Unfortunately, my husband and I’s stay was AWFUL. My husband is in the Marine Corps and I come up to visit periodically, we usually stay at a different hotel, but decided to try this one since it was cheaper. When we first got there and checked in, the room we were given was absolutely trashed and we had to go back up to the desk to be given a new room. Upon entering our new room, there were several issues, the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling, the sheets were not cleaned well, there was evidence of dirty paw prints (presumably a dogs, I have no issue with pets in hotels, just uncleaned sheets) on the bed, several lights didn’t work, there were bugs, dead and alive that we had to get rid of, it’s clear the room isn’t cleaned throughly as we found a pair of women’s underwear on top of one of the cabinets, the A/C unit leaked and flooded part of our floor, there was a piece of flooring missing, the breakfast wasn’t well, stale cereal, odd tasting eggs and so on, luckily Jacksonville is a beautiful area so we found things to do to spend as little time at the hotel as we could, but it was a truly disappointing and frustrating stay, and we will not be staying again, we were trying to save money on a cheaper hotel, but we learned it is definitely a “get what you pay for” situation. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

You get what you pay for. Housekeeping is terrible and will not come if requested. I had to change my own sheets when needed since housekeeping couldn't be bothered.
Front desk staff were incredible but this is NOT a place to stay with children.
