Room was clean and looked newly renovated. Bed was comfortable and the area quiet. We just stopped on our journey through MO, so we didn't explore the area, and since we ate at the diner next door, we didn't need to get back into our car for a bite. Diner is expensive however, $33 for 2 eggs and bacon and one side of toast for my husband and I.

Staff was the best part of the stay. Every single one was excellent and there were 4 that we interacted with. Worst part was noise in the middle of the night that consisted of loud banging, squealing, phone ringing over and over and music playing. The room looked fairly new but not as clean as l would have liked.

One of the purposes of paying for something through ******* is the discounts that they offered as opposed to going straight through a hotel or motel or or wherever you happen to be staying. This motel even after having paid for everything through ******* keeps trying to sneak in extra charges. They try to cite a security deposit but the security deposit is already paid through *******. They've also tried to charge my card for various other amounts. I was assured by staff there who reached out to the manager while I was there that I would not be charged any additional amount and that they would reach out to *******. When I tried to go through the ******* customer service, the customer service could not get a hold of any of the hotel, staff or management. The motel might be clean but after all that I'm definitely not going to be staying there again the next time I'm in Dexter. I would encourage everyone else to go elsewhere as well or if you happen to risk it and stay there then double and triple check charges made to your card.
