The manager stood out. I believe her name was Maddie. She was working the front desk, amazing so sweet and kind I would come and stay again because of her.

The staff were very friendly. The rooms were very clean and quiet. The restaurant inside the hotel had great food with a river view. The rooms could use updating but the price was a bargain.

The room was clean when we got there and everything in the room functioned Properly. We were there in the off season so the staffing was a bit understaffed but they were all courteous and helpful.

I appreciate a hotel with a restaurant on site, especially after a very long drive. Our meal was pretty good and service was perfect.

The Good. Lobby and restaurant light bright and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. bed was comfortable.
The Bad. “ Not updated” would be too kind. Dark, worn, shower inoperable, so I had to change rooms. No place in bathroom to place your supplies other than back of toilet. No counter at all. Generally beat up.

Breakfast was excellent. Phone in room didn't work to call the front desk. Fresh towels never came when requested. Hot tub had been shut down. Charged $40 per night upgrade to have view of river. But they put us on the ground floor - with a view of the lawn!! Could not see the river at all!! I'd rather have a view of the parking lot!! Very disappointing in that regard.

Paid extra for a river-view room but although property appeared nearly empty (few cars in parking lot) front desk clerk put us in lower floor room from which river can’t be seen. It also was across from a utility room which had a pump or similar starting up every 10 minutes or so sounding like a siren. Room was a bit shabby with multiple gouges on the walls. Took desk clerk 15 minutes to check in one couple before me. Poor service and not good value.

Without a doubt, the best pet friendly hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are old and dated, but they are exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. I was disappointed that the hot tub was not working and honestly, the pool needs to be shut down as well because it is Pretty awful. The rest of the property is outstanding! Beautiful, clean green spaces and a lovely beach and Marina. Close to everything. I would highly recommend this property. Just don’t come expecting a pool and hot tub like I did.
