Yes, the staff was courteous and the room was in good condition, but the staff could not be found for 15 minutes because he had been given other assignments out of earshot and could not respond to my calls or to those of another potential guest who eventually left the grounds.

I did bring a pet so i was assigned what i guess was a pet friendly room. The room was clean except that urine smell was almost intolerable. They had the ac set to 62 which im sure was to mask the smell.

Check in was quick and friendly, I had purchased a late check out for noon and that payment was taken care of smoothly. Room was VERY spacious. No toilet paper when we first got in the room, so I had to go down to the front desk to grab a roll. Bed and furniture very comfy. In the morning, about 11:15, I took a bag out to our vehicle while my girlfriend was in the shower, mind you I paid for a late noon check out. As I was returning to the room, the front desk lady was coming from my room asking why I was still in the room. I explained I had paid for a late check out, and she said she didn't see it in the computer. I go to use my key, it was "turned off" so I had to knock for my girlfriend to let me in. She was completely upset that she came out of the shower obviously with no clothes on and the lady from the front desk was in the room!! Obviously communicating between staff or the computer system or something needs to be taken care of. With all of this happening, we felt rushed to get packed up and check out as fast as we could, so we were not even able to enjoy that extra hour of relaxing before getting on the road. I won't be staying here again. Sidenote.. the room, like I said was comfy, BUT when showering, we both noticed that our feet were both EXTREMELY dirty from walking on the carpet barefoot.

Room was dirty. No towels. Trash from a previous occupants was in the room. Staff was rude and we felt as an inconvenience to them. I will never stay here again!

The bathroom had not been cleaned. Previous occupant left hair in the shower stall and near the wastebasket. I had asked the manager to have that corrected while I was out of the room but I returned to the uncorrected bathroom. That made the entire stay uneasy.

I stay here often, for when I work a long day at the museum and don't feel safe making the long drive home afterwards.
It is conveniently located by an interstate highway (I-94) and a major Wisconsin highway (26). A number of restaurants and stores are nearby. The hotel is on top of a hill and gets little noise from the highway traffic.
It seems to be well run, and have few complaints.

Advertised continental breakfast consisted of 3 bagels and 2 pieces of toast. There was no juices. The pancake maker only worked occasionally. There was not enough food for the people that came for breakfast. They advertised that they would clean your room everyday unless otherwise requested. When i asked i was told that they don't do that. This was advertised every room. We stayed for 3 nights for 2 people and initially only had 2 towels. We routinely had to ask for fresh towels. Probably will not stay there again.
