We stayed at this Microtel a couple of weeks and enjoyed our stay so much that when we made plans to return to the Rice Lake, Wisconsin area we chose to come back to Microtel. We have no negative comments to make about the property or the services we get when staying there. We highly recommend this place.

Needs update and has a strong smell
Not the nicest..wished i would have picked the holiday inn instead. Needs a major update..couch in our room was dirty and hotel has a strong fragrance that might be worse than whatever they are trying to cover.

Very efficient and professional staff. The property and our room were in excellent condition. Very satisfied with our stay here, and plan to come back.

Hotel pretty much what I expected. Arsa was nice. Easy in and iut access. Hotel relatively quiet. Staff pleasant. Breakfast adequate but nothing special. Room was nice although initially the kleenex box was empty and also told desk the shower faucet dripped ( probably the equivilent of 1/2 cup of water a day.
Otherwise room was nice and the bed comfortable.

This property is clean and pleasant. It is not “fancy”, but it is a great place to use as a base for exploring Rice Lake or taking a travel break and getting a good night’s sleep.

The hot breakfast was nice but my room smelled musty and the bedside tables clearly had not been dusted in a while. Overall a so-so stay.

I needed a clean, comfortable, reasonably priced hotel for one night in the area. I got all of that, plus a nice breakfast with an omelette station. I would definitely stay there again.

Not the greatest hotel experience.
Room keys didn’t work, which I didn’t find out until after the front desk was no longer staffed for the night. I had to deal with someone on a computer kiosk who I am sure was overseas. Multiple conversations were rolling on the screen while I was dealing with my problem. My key situation was resolved quickly, however I was not expecting that experience and will not stay at a hotel in the future that uses this type of technology. The room air conditioner cycled every few minutes and was very noisy making sleep difficult.
