This is an older property so compared to more recent designs and construction it is a down a notch or two.

But for the price and view it is well worth it. This was my 2nd stay here and I will be back if I have a lodging need in the area.

Nice location in Waynesville. Very accessible from major road. Room was confy, but not spectacular. Breakfast was practically nonexistent, coffee, some cereal, a waffle machine, and "fresh" fruit consisting of bruised apples and brown oranges. Pool was open only if you asked. Okay place, but truly nothing special.

Disappointing visit

First night mt wife was taking a shower and the bottom of the tub got slick and she fell. When we reported it to the hotel the next day they told us they had no way to document the incident. The said they would report it to the owner and he told them they did not furnish anti-slip mats for the tub and they had no way to document the incident. Friday the cleaning staff removed our towels and did not straighten the bed. They also did not dump the trash cans. The hotel is very cute and in a good location, we were disappointed with this visit.

My spouse was going to have surgery nearby early in the morning. We went through ******* to get the room. Paid the ******* amount. We used our points. Days Inn charged us their price and 50.00 more in top of that. Had to talk to Expediaa and Days Inn is supposed to refund what they charged. Room was clean. Breakfast barely had anything at 7am.aside from oatmeal, cereal, baby waffles, a few slices of bread, maybe three little muffins. I was looking for orange juice. Bagels.

It was adequate for my purposes. Remote control seemed to be missing, but I wasn't planning to watch much tv anyway. Shower worked, but the water temperature didn't have much of a middle ground. Turn it to the right, it was very hot. Turn it to the left and it was cold, middle was off. Location was nice enough, though I didn't notice anything in walking distance, but a Lowe's hardware. Chairs in the room were stained. The bed seemed fine, just too soft for my liking. The room had a balcony with rocking chairs. Staff were friendly enough. Didn't hear anyone else, so the room was quiet enough to get a good restful sleep.

******* charged me and the hotel would not accept it and they charged me. So I’m out double for this dated property. Breakfast was a joke. A little update and some decent breakfast would go along way.

This is an older property, but it is well maintained. Things like decor, the bathroom and furniture aren’t to higher level franchise competitors. But you aren’t paying those prices either. Great view from every room. I’d gladly stay here again if the opportunity arose.
