My husband made two reservations for us and my mom to spend one night at the Super 8 Wyndham Hotel in Fort Wayne, Indiana, last weekend. For those of you considering staying here, I recommend that you stealth camp in your car by a Love’s truck stop instead. You will have many more amenities and save some cash in the process. First, my husband received a voicemail from Mayo Patel asking us to confirm our reservation as he wondered if a mistake was made in reserving two rooms. Since Mayo did not leave a return phone number, I found it online and called. The call rang about 20 times. I called three more times with the same result. Then I called the national booking line to confirm our reservations. The woman who answered the phone said, “Hallooo?” I explained the situation, and she said, “It’s okay. You are confirmed.” I reminded her that Mayo Patel needed us to confirm, not her, so she put me on hold and came back a few minutes later to say that the front desk wasn’t picking up. When we arrived, two men were behind the big glass safety window. Of course my key didn’t work, and my husband came to the front desk after taking my mom’s luggage to her room to ask, “Are pets allowed here because there’s a huge dog barking in room 1023.” One of the men left immediately to investigate, and the other man WORDLESSLY activated my key. Literally not one word to me of greeting or apology. I heard a steady beeping noise like a fire alarm with low batteries. I asked, “Will that beeping noise get turned off?” “Eh?!” He furrowed his brow and left his mouth hang open while he looked at me in confusion. “That beeping noise.” “Beating?” he asked. “Beeping.” I imitated the noise. Then the beeping stopped, and he nodded to indicate all was well. In our room there was a king size bed, two nightstands, one lamp, a dresser with no drawers, a plastic chair like you find in a school cafeteria, a mini fridge that didn’t seal, a microwave, a first generation flat screen TV with only one channel on an antenna, two of the smallest bed pillows I’ve ever seen, and that’s it. The room was huge with no loveseat or comfy chair or table and chairs, and the bathroom next to that area was small and full of chipped ceramic tile, bad paint job, and a general icky feeling. No towel rack, no towel bar, NO SHAMPOO. My mom didn’t have any shampoo either. At the Super 8 Wyndham Hotel in Fort Wayne, Indiana, you get bar soap and conditioner only. The hairdryer didn’t have an on/off button, so you had to hold the power button to get it to work. My mother’s handicapped bathroom boasted a shower area where the tub had been removed with no shower curtain. What a joke. The three of us left at 7:34 am and were not surprised that not even coffee was served for the advertised breakfast. No breakfast was served for the advertised breakfast. At Love’s you will get shampoo, private showers, food, coffee, a table and chairs, cold drinks from a cooler that seals, lighting, a clock, and cl

Friendly staff. Clean room. Though No shampoo in shower. Needed to use hand / body wash soap that was in shower to wash hands after using toilet. Hand Bar in bathroom came out when used. Ice bucket was under sink to catch drips. Breakfast is basic...toast, yogurt, cereal, juice, milk, fruit, Hostess Danish...which was nice to grab and go Other than the minor issues above, it was a good stay.

Stayed at Super 8, Wayne, NE for a tour of the Wayne State Film and Media department, which is Great, by the way. The motel was clean and low cost. My room was also clean and quiet, but the toilet had a bad stain, needs nuked. The complimentary breakfast was very limited, bananas, cereal, yogurt and Danish rools. The bad part was I reported to the desk clerk that the milk was sour, and he did nothing about it. Outrageous !

I’m not a person to leave reviews. I try to find the positive in people and situations but I have to warn anyone even considering staying here, do not stay here. DO NOT under any circumstances stay here!!! Unless you are okay with bed bugs!!! We even checked the bed first thing when we got there. We didn’t see any signs of bed bugs but like anytime you stay at a hotel we didn’t put our bags on the floor, furniture or bed. Thank god we didn’t because we woke up at 6:00 am with blood spots in the bed and I actually killed one crawling on my arm full of blood. I woke my wife up, took showers, triple checked all of our stuff for bugs, bagged EVERYTHING up, and checked out! Here’s the kicker. We notified the guy at the front desk and he could not have cared less. Offered no apology or any kind of assurance they had any intention to get it treated or taken care of let alone any kind of refund. He said he’d have housekeeping check it out. We gave them the benefit of the doubt that even with reviews about bed bugs from last year and 2022 that they took care of it properly. No they did not! Take your chances if you want. We will never stay here again and we come to this area regularly. Read up on bed bugs if you don’t understand why we are so upset about this.

Meh, we were quite unimpressed by our recent stay here. The room was clean, however the ice machine was broken. The washing machine in the guest laundry was broken. There was peeling drywall. The room was small and the "blankets" were thin and full of cigarette holes. I will say that the clerk (proprietor?) was very friendly, but overall it was an unpleasant stay. I would be unlikely to stay here again.

Clean and functional basic motel. Friendly and welcoming proprietors. Affordable rates. We landed here late at night after crossing Nebraska by motorcycle and were very satisfied.

My particular room itself wasn’t bad. It appeared they were treating other rooms near mine on the first floor for bed bugs. I did a thorough check and didn’t see any in my particular room but it still made me uneasy. Front desk guy was friendly and seemed to know his job. The hallways had an awful smell. I can’t pin point what the smell was but it was very unpleasant. For the price I’d probably try this place again if I find myself back there for an extended work stay.
设施一般。空调不太好用。卫生状况也一般。如果实在没得选,住一晚也还行,但多花点钱住别家会更值得。
