Do not stay here!! Staff robs your room while you are out and shuts off cameras and management does not assist you. Even calling corporate is no use they do not care as they just forward your concern to your hotel you stayed at. This is the most unprofessional hotel I ever stayed at. I am a Diamond Choice member who sleeps days as I work nights and staff did not stop knocking on my door even with the do not disturb sign on. DO NOT STAY HERE EVER!!! Also they have long term living next door that shares common property and those people are taking pictures of little children in the pool and smoking pot in front of them. Management does not care about you at all.

Bed Bugs and Roach infested. Go else where! I did not stay the full night once, I turned the lights out to go to sleep ft things crawling on me. Flipped the lights on and seen the infested bed. Go else where. Requested to speak with some one and got nothing but attitude from staff.

This hotel was unsanitary from rooms to hall carpets and room carpets. I had 3 rooms with many bug issues. Ants, roaches and termites. Holes in the walls where they would come in even after spraying. Bath floors had an ant hill. Roaches came through bath drains. Management would not do anything. My dog got bit by bugs. She left bleeding. On the way to the vet. Travelers be cautious, for adults as well as kids and animals. The property needs more work than the staff can do. I also lost personal belongings as a result of the situation.

I spent over an hour waiting in the hotel lobby to check in. No one from the hotel staff ever apologized for the inconvenience to any of the 20 something people waiting with me either. As I watched guest after guest bring their keys back and said someone was already in the room, I decided the location was unsafe for my 14 year old daughter and I to stay there and we left. I called back to the location to cancel my reservation and no one offered any apology or compensation for my experience. I asked for a refund , no refund was issued. I’ve left a message for the hotel management to call me but I’m not holding my breath. The concern I’ve already been shown does not give me faith that they will follow through at all. I’m disappointed in the professionalism of this Clarion hotel as well as the hotel chain in general.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. The people there are very rude and didn’t even tell my family where our rooms were located. When we finally found our rooms, we saw tons of bugs crawling on the floors and walls. We cancelled our stay within minutes. DON’T EVER COME HERE.

We got a room 6/6/24 in the “nicer” side of the hotel. Found a bed bug on one of the beds. Immediately went to check out and ask for a refund and the person at the desk didn’t believe me until I showed him a picture of the bug with the time and date on it. Then all the staff started whispering and trying to keep it a secret from the people behind me trying to check in. They were referring to it as a “bb.” The next day I came for a refund and the old lady at the desk was so rude she wouldn’t even get out of her chair to acknowledge me and had the worst attitude. It’s like she was offended that I wanted a refund. I’m not sure but it’s very bizarre behavior. Especially for someone who is supposed to be in administration. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.. unless you’re looking to destroy your home with bedbugs and catch attitude while doing so.

I seldom complain but this place is unacceptable. Booked a room on 5/16 for a late arrival on 5/16 and check out 5/17. Arrived near midnight to learn that there is no hot water here and hasn't had for quite some time. I was never informed of this until arrival leaving little or no recourse. Charged full price with no option except "full price or cancel" at midnight? Choice Hotels has become so large and their reputation is compromised. Assigned a room already occupied by someone else was no fun on an already bad experience. Finally got a different room that was not occupied. Slept a few hours, took a cold shower and got the hell out of that place. Booking with Choice Hotels has been a gamble in recent years and it won't happen again. This experience is why Choice will never again have a opportunity to show such unprofessional business practices to us as individuals and our colleagues will no longer have Choice Hotels as an option for business travel. What a dump.

Do not book here even if your power is still out. The GM, Amanda Kennedy, is running a predatory business during a natural disaster emergency. The other employees tried their best to accommodate the customers, but the GM had no interest in doing so (didn't know where items were) and would not honor the discount an employee the previous day told us would be included if our room was not cleaned (again). I so appreciated the other employees who were trying their best in a crappy situation, and one of them should be GM. If you choose to risk it, maybe call ahead and check which manager is on duty.
