Disappointed there was no food available early in the morning. The coffee in the room was nasty stale and old.The microwave is hidden under a counter difficult to use, the mini fridge is indeed mini without a freezer I will not return.. for spa services and not overnight is all it’s meant for. The price is quite high we hoped for a better experience.

Stayed 2 nights here while on business trip. Definitely not recommended. Front desk staff was friendly. Check in was hassle free. Hallways has an awful smell. Carpet in our room had many stains and one area that was very sticky. Air in the room did not work. Reported to the front desk but no one came until the following day to fix the issue. Beds weren't the most comfortable. Unfortunately no one slept every well the first night due to the extreme heat and having no air. Pool area was clean but the pool definitely needed a good cleaning. Conference room was clean and comfortable. Staff were in and out all day toppling things up. Food was excellent. Grounds outside were disgusting. Garbage and cigarette butts everywhere. Not located in the nicest area.

After a long day competing in the skills competition, I came back to lovely food, an air conditioned room, and cozy new sheets. Absolutely recommend this hotel to ANYONE. I will 100% be back to this hotel!

I’m not sure who is writing these reviews, an absolute horrible hotel. Where to start. Poor management, unfriendly staff. Garbage everywhere out front gu st smoking right at the front doors. hotel needs a whole lot of upgrades. The rooms although large but with filthy carpets and grime in the bathroom just disgusting. Now let’s start with their advertised parking structure…closed. Been closed as I understand for quite some time. Do yourself a favor and run for the hills from this hotel if I could give it a zero I would.

This was great for me to visit with local family members and friends. I could invite them to the hotel where they could enjoy the pool with slide, visit in my room or join me at the Pancake House restaurant. I enjoyed chatting with the bar manager during a happy hour, along with my sister. (Great service and fantastic strawberry daiquiri at a reduced price! You can even take drinks with you to the pool or a whole bottle of wine up to your room for only $30.) Maid and front desk attendees were helpful, the room was clean, and my guests didn't want to leave because the beds were so comfortable! All that, and a quick hop over to Polo Park. As a bonus, the rooms were very quiet despite being quite busy over the Easter long weekend with many guests. Thanks!

We have stayed here before and for the most part had a good experience. Not this time. Didn't find out until check-in that the parkade was under construction and not available. Only option was to park in the Earl's parking lot. Had to cross a busy street with no stoplights and no sidewalk. After going out for supper we return to hotel and get in elevator to go up to 3rd floor where our room was. Entered the elevator we pushed the #3 button and the doors closed. Then nothing happened we waited tried pushing the button again but nothing. Now I'm thinking the elevator is broken and we are going to be stuck. Now I just started pushing all the buttons and after hitting number 5 up we go to the 5th floor. This floor is not rooms but offices. Now I start looking for stairs thinking we'll just walk down to our floor. I find a door for stairs but upon opening it I find a bunch of mop pails etc making it impassible!!! Now we go back to elevator and get in and it takes us down to the ground floor. I then go to the check-in desk to inform them the elevator is not working. That's when they tell us we need to use our room key to access the elevator!!!!! Didn't need to do that when we checked in earlier in the day so I assume that this is something that kicks in later in the day. Very embarrassing and would have been nice to know. All in all not a good experience.

We stayed 3 nights at this property and it was a bad experience. The bed was so broken you could see the dip. Every spring could be felt. I stayed on that side the first night and then the second night I had to take ibuprofen to sleep. the third night I switched with my 8 year old daughter and she rolled and fell out of bed because of the dip. The thermostat was also broken and would not decrease below 75. I was up all night the first two nights thinking it was our fault for not being able to adjust. On the third night they said that all the rooms were broken and getting fixed but just gave us a fan. My daughter had a high fever she acquired once we arrived in Winnipeg so we had to manage her temperature in a room that was too hot for people without a fever. We were offered $50 off our entire stay which was over $750. I said that wasn’t enough so their final offer was $100 off. This was way too much money for this. That mattress should have been removed years ago. We were trying to make the best of it and not complain but this was horrible.

The Hotel is in good shape with the common areas and rooms all in good shape. Looking modern and new. Rooms are quite large so that even with two queen beds there is space to move around. The mini kitchen counter with its microwave and mini-refrigerator was a nice touch. You can use the in house coffee maker or heat up some leftovers in a dedicated space. Parking was not available on site but in a parking lot across the road; at this time of year it was icy or wet to get there.

From arrival to departure, there were no problems at all. The front desk staff was excellent. The amenities were all in working order and the staff friendly. The spa staff were notably accommodating and my massage was just what I needed at the end of a long day.

Horrible booking experience. Off-site booking staffer was unknowledgable. Onsite management was rushed and unhelpful. Spa management does not return emails. Parkade under endless repairs and thus closed.
