My husband and I spent two nights at the Hillbrook in March. Everyone there was welcoming and very accommodating. The grounds are beautiful. It's close to things to do a short drive away. The breakfasts were so good and we had the five course meal with wine pairing one of the nights and it was absolutely outstanding. You can tell the chef's have a real creative flair. We stayed in the Snuggery and while it is a small room,the size of the room was not an issue for us. However, the there is barely enough room to get to other side of the bed past the wardrobe and we're not big people by any means. Also,this room only has a bathtub with a handheld shower head, which is not ideal for most people. It was fine for the two nights, but next time I'd choose a different room. Overall a wonderful and relaxing getaway for us.

Unique experience overall. Great dinner. Compliments to our waitress and the chef/kitchen. It was our 1st ever meal of this kind (pick from a list on 4 courses). It was one of the best meals of our lives. We stayed in the farm house a few miles away from the main headquarters. This too was unique. The room provided a great nights sleep. Be aware there is a train in the vicinity and it was heard by my wife during the overnight hours. There is also a race course nearby that revved up engines at 8 a.m. on Saturday. It is a little odd to share a home with other guests and be disconnected from the main property. Be aware that is the case here. We had no issues. Both the hotel and dinner are a dent to the budget. Be aware that this will be a costly trip. All team members were very accommodating throughout.

I booked this online for 4 people and got a confirmation for the room, but when I got there the charged me an extra $100 for extra guests plus a dinner cancellation fee and a resort fee. What was promised on ******* was not what I got. Shame on the property and ******* -- and I'm a longtime customer of the latter.

We stayed 1 night at the Hillbrook Inn. Our son stayed in the Snuggery by himself and we stayed nearby. These rooms are on an upper level, so you have to carry your suitcases up a few stairs. The rooms were modern and well-appointed. Each room has a coffee maker, wine glasses, wine opener and fridge. The decor is very tasteful and the showers/bathroom are new! The food at the restaurant was amazing! The only option available was a wine pairings menu for $125 each. We were happy to partake in this but it didn't work well for our teenage son who is very picky. Luckily the restaurant had leftover Mac & cheese from a wedding the previous night. The breakfast was delicious and generous. Everyone was friendly and we enjoyed the lovely setting and grounds.

Property was massively understaffed our room was not cleaned between nights and the dinner was executed terribly. Back up chef on duty had no idea how to prepare Tuna and managed to make it taste like ham. What staff was on duty tried hard but are overwhelmed by the lack of proper staffing.

Have stayed at many Select Registry locations and this one does not disappoint! We stayed in the Hawthorne House a couple of miles away from the main Inn. The place is absolutely first class! If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet getaway can’t imagine a better place!
