This place is probably 50-75 years old, and i paid extra for a "deluxe" foom. The maintenance nearly as out of date. Plumbing sucks. Might have been built as a lower budget imitation of a Holiday Inn in the 1960's. Then deteriorated to a Ramada, then to a Super 8 and now can't even keep up with a super 8.
No breakfast.
Of course, no elevator to the second floor. Strictly outdoor stairs.
Room for two had one dirty towel (until we asked for new ones). TV takes two remotes and each does something different. Too confusing for 90% of the world.
No motel in canton is very good and the one in Van is below par for a Marriott. Recommend the 30 minute drive to La Quinta, Tru by Hilton or Fairfield by Marriot next to Buc-ees in Terrell. The Holiday Inn Express in Terrell is not up to usual Holiday stands but it does beat everything in Canton and we go to Trade Days every month, barring temperature extremes.

Do not trust any of their photos. This was the worst hotel we’ve ever experienced. Started with us driving up to a nasty mini fridge with rotten food sitting out on sidewalk near our room door, a used wash cloth hanging over shower, room smelled of wet dog and smoke, cracked toilet, mildew on furniture and behind toilet, carpet nails sticking out at edges, vanity outlet did not work. I took photos of all this which better represents this place.

Not staying here again, the guy at the desk was silenced me when I had a question, very grumpy. Bed creaked like metal bending whenever you moved. Bathroom was in need of repair. Outside is in desperate need of paint.

Sheets were not changed. Had cigarette burns in sheets blanket. Bed uncomfortable, carpet dirty. Bad smell. Room was in need of upgrade. We are thankful that at least we had a place to stay but I feel it was way Overpriced for quality of room. I believe the room rents for $63 per night which is too much in my opinion. I paid $159 because of trade days was going on. I received a 25% discount for the dirty sheets but still $129 is to much for an out dated motel room.
