The property and room were clean and neat. The breakfast was pretty good. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working and there was no sign that it was out of service. That was a disappointing surprise.

Good for the area, staff was great! Place outside a bit rundown but nice inside, great pool and jacuzzi! Overall a great stay, but just not 5 stars! I would stay again!

Good stay

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean, quiet, comfortable and roomy. Amenities were good. Facility was clean and maintained. Easy on and off to the main roads, plenty of local activities.

I loved the great variety of options on the television.

The morning desk receptionist was tremendously helpful. I had a flat tire and she had her husband come out and help me get the spare (donut) put on my car. She, her son and her husband were so very helpful!

The air conditioning and heating unit made noises like hale hitting the roof and every once in awhile a high pitched noise would appear for many minutes then dissipate. I slept fitfully all night.

The property is not as well maintained as in prior years. Breakfast options were not as good as in the past. I understand ownership has changed. Still, it is a better place to stay than a number of the other Rhinelander hotels which have no concept of what clean looks like. The AmericInn room was clean and tidy and the pool and hot tub are nice amenities.

The staff was very nice and kept everything well stocked in the dining area and the coffee service area. Unfortunately, our room smelled like body odor and even opening the window wasn't enough to get rid of the smell. The insulation is also poor so we could hear other guests talking and showering.
