As another reviewer said, this is a step above the usual Super 8 motel. The rooms circle the nice indoor pool, giving it more of a large hotel feel. The free breakfast was good (if not huge on variety), everything was clean, the price was decent, and the location is great (near Spearfish Canyon and not far from Deadwood and Lead - or Rapid City for that matter via the interstate). Good base to explore the area and Devil's Tower. You can't go wrong staying here if you are planning a few days in the area.

The place was okay, The room was smelly, very dated, and the air cond system was falling to bits and broken at the slats. Worst was breakfast, or lack of it and an uncaring female staff member, who was like 'we put stuff out and when it's gone it's gone'. Nice! There wasn't even a slice of break to make toast.

Got checked in and they didn’t clean the toilets from the previous people staying in said room. Do not stay here, super unsanitary

Good location in Spearfish. Parking is good for regular vehicles but is limited for large vehicles or anyone towing. Requires stairs to a hallway for access to all rooms. Comfortable rooms and beds, with good WiFi access. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Hotel is a good base location to explore Spearfish and the western Black Hills.

All you can ask for for an overnight stay. Clean room, not deodorized. perfect size for a family of 2. Washroom is clean, towels are great. Shout out to Alissa, she was multitasking and yet have time to share places to see, so cool around Mt Rushmore . Check in to this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

Great access to spearfish and deadwood. We stay here every year for the college rodeo and it gives us easy access to the region with good parking for large vehicles. The breakfast is reasonable and gets the family started right with one less hassle in the mornings.

This is a great budget friendly option. Granted, it’s dated and basic. But the staff is all friendly and courteous, rooms are clean and pool/hot tub is decent. For the price, we’d stay again. We were in town for just a couple days and offices from our hotel room and enjoyed a quiet stay.

The stay was great! The room was humongous, everything was clean and quiet. We got the Jacuzzi suite and the jacuzzi was very clean. The bed wasn't half bad, the pillows were fantastic and I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Very clean and Super friendly staff. I enjoyed the convenience to the Interstate and very close to Deadwood for some fun. Lots to do in the beautiful area. Nice pool. Decent parking. I had 2 beds and living area with microwave and refrigerator.
