Windows need to be up grated. ice machines not working"on all three floors.Cobb webs in stairwells.one hour before breakfast buffet was to end no food available.Staff sitting in breakfast area laughing joking around while they ate the guests food which was scraps for the offering.Door in room repaired.It appeared to be damaged so much that something went through both sides of the door.

Our stay was just what we needed. Breakfast was full of choices and and plenty to eat and drink. A perfect stop in a lovely town.

The staff we interacted with were all very friendly and the beds were comfortable. The room and the hotel as a whole could use an update. Everything just seemed a little outdated.
The room: There was a slight, almost cigarette, smell in our room and the light in the room was extremely dim. So it was difficult for my wife to do her makeup in front of the full length mirror. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom water pressure was great.
Breakfast: This was probably the most disappointing.. we got downstairs around 9:30am and breakfast closed at 10:00am (on a Saturday morning). There were no scrambled eggs left, there was no regular waffle batter left, all the juices from the juice machine needed to be changed and only dispensed water with maybe a hint of juice, there was no cream cheese left for the bagels, and the only trash in the dining room was completely full. I never saw anyone working there come out while we were there.
The area: we were there for a wedding so I can’t say much about the area. I will say that it was difficult for some of our friends to take an Uber back to their hotel at night. We had an easy time getting an Uber during the day but it took at least 30 minutes for friends to wait for an Uber late at night.
Overall Thoughts: For a one night stay, it was completely fine, no real complaints aside from the breakfast disappointment. I just wouldn’t suggest a stay longer than 2 nights.

Liked having and using pool. didn't realize there would be a swimming lesson going on at same time. As this was a quick stop over on our way to Bar Harbor, it fit our needs. Since the room was on the street side it was a bit noisy even with fan running all the time. The room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast which was included.

Breakfast not until 7:00 am. No coffee available until breakfast room was open. Early waiting line. Keys only worked for a day. Worked on entrance but not on room entry.
Bed and pillows were great. Not much bath counter space. Shower was very good.

It was an older property so a little run down and the bed could have been softer for my preference. It was very clean though and quiet. On the night I stayed there were no dining options nearby but apparently there's a restaurant open on the weekends at the hotel.
