I had stayed a night at a Quality Inn in Cape Girardeau last night, and it had a nice pool and a good breakfast spread. For that reason, I tried this Quality Inn. The pool was totally green and not usable -- looked like it had been that way for awhile. It would have been nice if the website had mentioned that. Also, the breakfast selection wasn't as good as the one from yesterday, either.

Rude Guy
Check in was fine, room was updated, there was a male hotel staff that was extremely rude and disrespectful. I was there coaching for the weekend and some of my players came to the pool, there was less than 10 people there including my girls. The guy came out rude and told us to leave. After we checked out, my daughter realized she left something in the room and we called to see about paying for it to be mailed to us. The first time I was hung up on, second time he seemed to act like he was looking, and then my daughter called in tears. He took her number but I doubt that he will call. Would not recommend this place for more than a one night solo stay.

The building needs to be torn down. Public spaces filthy. Bathrooms 1950’s rehabbed. Messy dated workmanship.
No toilet tissue. If it hadn’t been so late I would have driven another 100 miles to avoid this hotel.

Must share towels and wash clothes
Good little place to stay. We were in town for a softball tournament over 4 days, so not in room much. Only given 2 towels and 2 wash clothes although 4 people in the room. They were switched out once, for a set of 1 towel and 1 wash cloth. When asked for extra through out the week was told they didn’t have extra. (Kinda need extra when hot and sweaty from a long day on the field.) Finally got extra sets last night we were there.

The pool wasn't open, not even cleaned. The pillow cases had a musty smell. The floors are dirty and shower tub was debatable on whether it was actually clean or not. The room in the air was off for who knows how long and it was in the mid to high 80s.
