Staff is great but place is run down. nothing like the pictures. bathroom door broken couch was dingy musty smell in kitchen area.

I reserved two rooms. Everything was extremely clean except in one room there was a smell- not to overpowering- but there was a smell. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is very small JUST FYI but otherwise it was a comfortable stay.

First arrived at a room that smelled like cigarette smoke and asked an associate there to verify whether it did, and her response was that it "kinda" smelled like it, which was way off from a "yes" or "absolutely." It was bad enough to ask for a different room since everything in there smelled. After being assigned a different room, I told the manager that one of the entrance doors wasn't closing properly, and her response was that people sometimes leave things in the door on purpose to enter and exit the building. The main reason it wasn't closing properly was that the people who installed that door didn't do it right, but she didn't want to hear that from me, so I just walked away, saying whatever. Later on, I realized I had misplaced some keys of mine and went down to her to ask her if anyone in that first room had turned anything in, and she said no. The fact that she never tried to go to that room and ask if my keys were in there would've been nice. At least an effort or concern would've been nice. The next morning, once I turned in my key card, she asked me what the keys looked like, then got up out of her chair and went to ask another associate if he had seen anything. Zero effort, no concerns, Nasty attitude, and Unprofessional.

The desk clerk was doubling as a housekeeper. She was sweet and pleasant.. such a hard worker!!
Bed was comfy.

Room review
Chech in was easy and quick, parking was busy but i think there was a Tennessee football game so i totally understand. Unfortunately when i got into the room that's where it went wrong. Unfortunately there were dirty dishes in the sink, the toilet was dirty and cleaned properly, they left an open pack of razors on the sink, the shower had the last guests shampoo and bar of soap in there. Lastly there was an open can of pear juice on the kitchen counter and when i went to throw it out it was stuck to the counter top.
