Place is rundown, and paint outside chipping and fading. The front desk is non responsive, and let calls to the lobby go on voice mail(there was no house phone in the room). I asked the desk to please not have housekeeping come into my room, as I have work and other items I don't want housekeeping to rearrange. I also had the no service wanted sign on the door. They came in anyway, and several items were lost as they apparently threw them out. The next day, after asking again to keep them out, housekeeping came in again and totally disrupted the room rearranging everything. I called the front desk who blew off the call. I called corporate quality(from their website, who gave me the run around). Corporate later contacted me, saying ,as its a franchise operation, there was nothing they could do. Also, people are milling around at night, and it appears less than safe. Many rooms have potted plants, cats etc like a welfare motel. AVOID this dump!

Drove 4 hours from WI with my 89 mother. Used the last of my vacation from my two jobs. Checked in, needed to leave to get a event downtown. Called house keepers back to change dirty sheets. They came with vacuum and big black garbage bag. Dumped "clean" linens on the bed from the garbage bag. We left, came back to look closer and it was the most unsanitary, gross, room ever. Cob webs, mold, fungus on shower head. Lifted the mattress and black bugs all over. Did not sleep there drove all the way back Home. Did not receive a apology or money back

Our flight was late and they had closed checkin by the time we could arrive. This was truly frustrating with a family in tow. But to further the matter, they never refunded our money. It’s crazy to have no after hours ability at a hotel this large.

We booked a stay at the Sonesta. The flights into Minneapolis arrive late so we arrived at the property at 10:30pm. The front desk was locked up with a sign that said they were closed for the night. We called the mainenance emergency number and she got hold of the manager. They would not come down to give us a key and said just to return in the morning. We had nowhere to go.

We, along with 3 other families, had booked this place through AirBnB to attend a wedding. There were a total of 4 suites booked (individually) in July of 2023. 2 days before we were set to arrive, all 4 were cancelled by the property. We had to scramble to find rooms

DO NOT STAYT AT THIS PLACE! we never even checked in for our 3 night stay. the pool wasnt open as advertised and they did not offer free breakfast as advertised. we tried calling multiple times and they never answered the phone, we mentioned that to them and they said their phones were down....for 6 weeks?!?!? WE WENT DOWN THE ROAD to a very nice Motel with an outdoor pool and free breakfast. Our key cards even got us a discount at Chilis.

Pool closed the 4th of July. Front desk closes at 10pm. Sketchy property. My family booked the Sonesta five months in advance. Our plane left RDU at 7:20pm and landed at 8:44 pm. We got our luggage and car then stopped to get a quick bite. We were at the hotel by 10:30pm. When we found the registration office, they were closed with a note on the door saying to “ring the doorbell for after hours service.” Well, the door bell was ripped off the wall. There was an after-hours emergency number that was posted so I called it. I tried 3 times and it went straight to voice mail, but the mailbox was full. Thankfully, I reserved the room online. I called the online agent while my wife continued to try the after-hours number. Our agent answered and attempted to reach Sonesta with no luck. They checked the Sonesta website that said they had 24-hour front desk service. In the meantime, someone answered the phone on the after-hours number. My wife advised that we had a room booked for eight days and the maintenance worker said she would try someone else then hung up. I continued to work with our agent to find a room, last minute, on 4th of July weekend. The maintenance person text my wife and asked our last name which she promptly gave. The maintenance person said they did not have a reservation for that number and to wait until the morning to sort this out. We had nowhere to go. So, we texted back with their reservation number, but she stopped responding to our text. We found out the next day that the front desk simply did not want to come back down to check us in. Our agent tried to find a room for an hour before finding one that would accommodate our family. We made our way to the new reservation. Sonesta never attempted to contact us.

The hotel was mostly housing for the homeless. The mattress had bedbug feces. The pool was not opened for the season, breakfast was not provided, there was no coffee, there was no airport shuttle - all were advertised amenities on the hotel Sonesta website. Do not book here!

This hotel is actually Section 8 housing with a few rooms set aside for hotel guests. It was in terrible shape, dirty, noisy, with BBQ grills everywhere and basketballs bouncing. No breakfast. No coffee. No airport shuttle. The manager disappeared after we checked in. Immediately after seeing the room we tried to reverse our reservation. Still pending……100% Yucky!

We made reservations s two months in advance. We arrived on site at 11pm as our plane landed late. Registration building was closed and locked. I called the reservation desk and there was no answer. I called the emergency number on the door, but I went to voicemail which was full. I checked the website once more and the amenities showed 24 hour front desk. It was after midnight when we made the decision to find another hotel. This morning, we received a text that they lost our reservation and had no vacancies. Plus, it is late June and the pool of closed.
