We had a bad experience with this motel. We were coming from CA, had a long road trip, and were quite tired. We arrived at the motel sometime around 10:40 PM, checked in, and went to our room. To our surprise, the room had a pretty bad odor. I tried calling the front desk for help, but nobody picked up the call. After trying 4 to 5 times, I went to the front desk and asked for help: I was looking for an air freshener or something that could help suppress the bad odor. The staff seemed sorry for the trouble, told me there were no alternative rooms available, and handed me over some sort of fabric cleaner. That thing did not help at all. We had a terrible night and were praying to get a few hours of sleep before we could leave this place!

Property was clean bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Finishes were a bit run down, bathroom sink was cracked and no elevator so you have to carry your luggage to the 2nd floor.

This hotel was awesome. Big nice room. Clean common areas. Breakfast area was well attended to.
The staff was super friendly. It felt like we were a part of their small town community for the few days we stayed.

Wonderful experience - WONDERFUL staff and very clean. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat (this could be the nicest hotel in a 50 mile radius.) pool and breakfast were good. Mostly, the service was top notch. Tesla chargers very useful for us too.

Not many places to stay on this route that are dog friendly. This place was packed. Clean room but basic. Easy parking. Bag breakfast that was fine. Weak coffee. Plenty of dog friendly business turf. It was a good place to stop for the night. By the way, Fillmore has a nice small supermarket.
