Never go to this hotel. Bedbugs in mattress. Lots of dust. Carpet dirty. Very bad experience. So Even showing the bedbugs, the receptionist didn't accept saying there weren't bedbug in the hotel.

I DO NOT AGREE AT ALL with the many bad reviews I read about this hotel before I came to it : everything was OK. Maybe the hotel is not very new but it is clean and in good condition. Everyone will feel comfortable while relaxing in the garden or having a drink at the bar. Good swimmers will LOVE the large hotel pool. The food is excellent, we had very good time in the restaurant. The rooms offer good equipment, enough space and often a balcony. There was no AC in my room but it was absolutely unnecessary : there, even in july when days are hot, nights are very cool and no one could seriously complain about the heat at night. Another good point is the staff: it is very professional, well-organized and always helpful. The lady at the reception speaks french fluently and is even ready to share with you how she loves the city by offering a guided tour of it. To make a long story short, I had an excellent stay !

I regret to inform you that my experience at Evelina Palace in Bansko was extremely disappointing. The staff were consistently rude and unhelpful, making our stay uncomfortable from start to finish. The bar was never open, depriving us of a basic amenity. Additionally, the pool was freezing, rendering it unusable, and the lack of a hot tub or sauna further diminished any hopes of relaxation. To add insult to injury, the shower provided inconsistent temperatures, fluctuating between hot and cold without warning. Despite our requests, the staff refused to provide spare towels or a second key card, demonstrating a lack of consideration for guests' needs. Furthermore, the hotel blatantly lied about its proximity to the ski slopes, claiming it was a short walk away when in reality it was a 20-minute trek. The only redeeming quality was the comfort of the beds, but even that could not outweigh the invasion of privacy experienced by my friend who woke up to find the receptionist rifling through belongings without explanation. Overall, our stay at Evelina Palace was nothing short of a nightmare, and I would strongly advise against booking a room there in the future.

Although it is rated 4 stars, from my point of view it has 2. I could say a lot about the conditions, but the most important seems to me the attitude of the staff. Totally lacking in professionalism, you are almost molested. For example, the bus that takes you to the slope leaves you in one place, but takes you from another. Without knowing. It is not written anywhere, you are not notified in any way. We waited for him for 30 minutes. Eventually I took the taxi. When I asked at the reception why, I caused a scandal. My expectation was that the reception would settle the conflict in a friendly manner.

The stuff attitude is simply poor,doesn't feel like you are welcome rather you are reminded what you have to pay for. Free parking is a con, although it is advertised as one of the amenities. You can just ingore the receptionist that keeps asking you to pay for it and go to the next street instead to park for free. Poor cleanliness,the room is obviously worn out,dust etc. Could easily change this with a clean up upon the guest's arrival. Note that the massage there is not worth it, obviously they are not proffesionals in this matter,probably same as in hospitality.
