Very comfortable,good food,good ales. Very comfortable bed room a good size, only downside is shower a bit small in size, other than that would recommend Green King pubs

All staff couldn’t do enough, they were excellent however they need more of them. Hotel is very dated now and need updating, room wasn’t very clean, marks on curtains, windows and some of the walls on the room, water taps are very loud on the room, the room next door used theirs in the middle of the night and woke me up.

Brilliant hotel. we ran over hill road to Chipping sodbury and river Frome. stayed in the same room as the Queen stayed once. For a Bacon sandwich inbetween meal times.

Wonderful stay
Lovely venue. Very comfortable room, excellent service, staff very welcoming. Delicious dinner and substantial breakfast.

Pros: staff were friendly, the hotel was lovely, bedroom was old but it had a great feel, bathroom was clean tidy and everything in the room that you needed was there. The grounds of the hotel was picturess and beautiful, the building itself was beautiful and an old coach house
Negative: The food unfortunately was a major let down!! The steak was well over done even thou we requested medium, the mac & cheese had been pre cooked and warmed up in microwave and not eatable. The starter chicken strips was fine but there was no dips, no side garnish, just a bowl of chicken. The squid had no taste, and was very little in the bowl, there was more garnish then anything else
The pudding was ok it was eatable but not worth the money
