The staff were mostly pretty good the cleaners come in every four days but it’s a bit hit and miss. The first room was on the sixth floor very dark and depressing was offered a better apartment on the 12th floor a lot better cleaner better the corner rooms have bigger balcony’s and a better view on the left side from the front I would have gone higher for more son but Linda hates moving. It’s not perfect but we got for a good deal on love holidays and the prices seem to shoot up over Xmas. The heating is not great only comes on in the evening if it’s 10degrees. But we always take a back up heater for bargain hotels. The view of the mountains is fantastic could do we more sun on the balcony but the hotels in front stop a lot of it. The lounge has free WiFi and chairs get quite hard there are few sofa that have better days. We did have one breakfast there but the plates were cold so avoid that. The weather was up and down some sun some rain. General we had a good time. Don’t buy jewellery in some of the shops as they will not refund you if it breaks like Linda’s ring I got her. Go to mc Donald for a bargain ice cream and chill on the beach. This apartment is well located for shops lidls just round the corner and few smaller supermarkets further away. We had a good time enjoyed the Xmas lights they make a real effort with the decorations worth going to see them. Next year will possibly try the canaries for more sun. Hey hoe a mixed bag really

I was a little nervous after reading so many really negative reviews but honestly for the price we paid I have absolutely no complaints. There were coking facilities, a nice balcony and plenty space for our things. It was a little chilly with the ceramic tiled flooring but I can imagine this would be ideal in the summer months and the hotel provided extra blankets in the rooms so we were warm enough at nights. The woman on reception was kind and helpful. All in all if you’re looking to travel on a budget I’d definitely recommend!

upon arrival the staff were on the phone laughing and carrying on. they took our passports checked us in while still on the phone and just pointed to the lift to were we needed to go to our room. opening the door i was horrified and the lack or cleanliness. the floors were not swept or mopped there was stains on the walls. we has 2 single beds and only given 1 towel. i went to reception and explained the apartment was not in a clean state to be rudely interrupted and was told there was nothing wrong with the room and it was clean and all rooms come with single beds. i asked to be moved and was told no until i said i was going to make a formal complaint to on the beach and was then given another room. to my horror this was even worse than the first one. there was dirt all over the skirting boards and walls there was mould all over the tiles in the bathroom and the window was broken. the kitchen bench was split and dangerous. there was no cooking equipment apart from 1 pan that had not been cleaned and full of food. stain in the cupboards and the microwave was growing its own penicillin. clearly the facilities were unable to cook in. leading to having to eat out every day and night The patio door did not lock which made is feel a little uncomfortable. one of the beds was not stable and screws sticking out the sides. the mattress was full of holes.. on my way to reception i looked around the hotel and to my disgust the pool was in a deplorable state full of algae and unable to use. the sun loungers were full of foist and filthy. overall just disgusting. i approached the desk to discuss my concerns and was very abruptly told what there was nothing wrong with the apartment and if i was not happy then i should go to another hotel. i told then it was very cold and they basically said use a blanket. to which we did and were confronted with bed bugs and bitten alive. i was appauled that the staff thought it was acceptable to speak to me in this manor and it was very unprofessional. this holiday was meant to be a time for relaxing and time for me to mourn the death of my mother but it turned out to be the holiday from hell. i would strongly advise anyone to avoid this hotel at all costs.

Stayed at this hotel for 21 nights self catering with my brother ( 2nd Dec . to 23rd )... we had read some negative reviews about this hotel prior to our trip ... but have to say it was clean / ideally situated near to local shops and is within easy reach of the beach and bars / restaurants etc ... for the money we paid it was Great value ... many thanks to Laura at reception for giving us a little extra time before check out .... we plan to go back here .

This stay completely ruined our holiday. From the moment we arrived, the apartment was in an appalling state. There was absolutely no heating, and the room was freezing cold day and night. When we tried to raise the issue, the staff were rude, unhelpful and showed zero concern for our comfort or wellbeing. On top of that, the balcony doors didn’t even lock properly and kept opening on their own, which made us feel unsafe for the entire stay. We also couldn’t use the water properly on the first day, so even basic necessities weren’t available. The accommodation itself was filthy, with cockroaches actually running around the bedroom – completely unacceptable and a major hygiene concern. The whole place felt neglected and uncared for. What should have been a relaxing holiday turned into a stressful and miserable experience. We spent our time dealing with problems instead of enjoying our break. I would never stay here again and I strongly warn others to avoid this place.

This was our second stay at the Luxmar and I must say it has gone down hill. As you walk into the reception this is lovely also the bar and dining area are lovely too, but… upstairs is a different matter, there was rust around the plug hole in the bath, rusty radiators, rust around the fridge. The mattress slopped on one side it felt like I was sleeping on the side of a mountain and the pillows were awful to sleep on.

In all honesty i think the reviews on this apartment are way too harsh. Me and my partner stayed for a week and it was honestly amazing! I think you get what you paid for if anything you should be paying more, the rooms were clean and big and the balcony was massive - bigger than half of the 4 star hotels around the area. The pool was clean, deep and well kept and everything is in walking distance from the apartment. My honest opinion is half of the negative reviews are people expecting to pay very cheap and get a 5 star resort experience! Lastly, the staff were very friendly and nice - you do have to pay a €50 deposit on arrival however it wasn’t a hassle to get back as other people have said. All in all, a very pleasant experience and i would return to stay here again in the future :)

so i not happy with the hotel reception was rude as i had ants and didn't do nothing about it so i said like to get half money back nothing and saying stuff aboht my family and she was going to chuck me out beaicse i wanted half money back as it was really bad so i not happy with the stuff and people and i can't be ass to argue so i am glad to go home today and chill. hahah.cant find the video off them i would never come back here anymore again but the room was ok.

Before coming here we were so scared of the previous reviews but me and my mate stayed here for 8 days last week and it was incredible. Pool was spotless rooms were amazing staff were awesome wouldn't recommend it for family's but for younger people it's anazing 10/10 will be coming back also for younger people only a 10/15 minute walk from the main ***** and supermarkets are less than a minute walk up the road
