This hotel has been recently remodeled and joined the Hilton brand. Many of the amenities listed (including on the Hilton website) no longer exist The hotel does not have a restaurant, a sauna, or a steam room. It does have a tepid outdoor hot tub, outdoor pool, and typical Hampton Inn fitness center. The hotel itself is lovely, but this does not feel like an upscale vacation experience at all.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel several times in the past and really enjoyed the ambiance it offered. In fact, we were rather disappointed to see that Hilton had decided to update this hotel to their “standards” Pros - We liked that there was space to place/open two large suitcases. We liked the large TV. We liked all the plug-ins in the room. We liked the comfortable beds. We liked the bright and airiness of the new dining room. Cons - The remodeled hotel lacks the charm and character of the old hotel. The towels and washcloths felt like sandpaper on my skin - very rough! There was an “uneven” drop in the floor shortly after entering the room and I almost fell with my cane. There was no microwave in the room - only one in the common area. No computer (PC) for guests to use in the lobby - even though the hotel description states there is a Business Center with computer available for guests to use. The new dining room has an over abundance of high-top seating available yet when we were eating breakfast, all the guests were seated at the regular tables/chairs. FYI - many older people do not like high-tops. It seems like price-gouging to charge $20.00 per day for self-parking, in addition to a $42.00 resort fee along with the rather high price for a hotel room. In our previous stays, there was no charge for parking or resort fee. The resort fee includes: internet access for 2 guests in a room, 2 beach chairs and towels, 2 Starbuck coffees and 2 bottles of water daily. The hotel information mentions “free” internet. We didn’t use the beach chairs and towels because it was very cold during our stay and we never were told anything about the Starbucks coffee - read about it after we left. The front desk individual was very pleasant when we checked in, but I did have to ask a lot of questions - particularly about how to use the $30 per day credit for up to 2 people for Gold/Platinum Hilton Honor members. No mention was made of the Starbucks coffee or the resort fee and what it included. One evening we called the front desk twice - about 25 minutes apart with a question. Each time, the phone rang about 10 times but no one answered. We finally gave up. Not sure if we will stay here again with all of the added fees.

Being in my eighties I requested room near family. I was placed in room on first floor and family was on fourth floor. The young lady at the desk could not care less when I tried to get another room. She said “ have a nice stay” as she walked Away. The first thing I needed to do was call front desk to ask for a person to come and clean out the sink. Someone did some trimming and several hairs were left behind. There was nothing I could do about the stain on the sofa. If could have been blood of ketsup. Didn’t care to get close enough to make the determination. Water was pooled up at one end of the shower so decided to skip it. Last and not least was the roach that played cat and mouse with me crawling in and out of the space in the side wall near the floor. When I left the key at the front desk and reported the incidents the clerk said “a roach” and gave a little snicker. What a disappointment for a Hilton stay! Skip this place. There are plenty of other choices

The first night we checked into our room we realize it did not have working AC (which we figured could be because they are under construction). We waited awhile thinking maybe we just hadn’t given it enough time to cool off, but it never did. My husband went to the front desk around 1AM and an employee (Christopher) immediately checked us into a new room and apologized many times for the inconvenience. The new room had a great AC, was very clean, and had an even better balcony view than our original room had. When my husband brought it up to the manager (Rhonda) and was praising how well Christopher handled the situation, she also apologized and waived our parking fees and taxes on our room. We greatly appreciate how we were treated by the staff and we will definitely be returning!

We were on a road trip with no final stay planned. Wife suggested St. Augustine. Used the Hilton app and found this Hilton Tapestry hotel. Had never stayed in one before. What a great place. The room was spacious, clean and with the balcony, you got a view and a a great breeze. The hotel was quiet with great amenities. Beach chairs, Beach towels and even e-bikes ( we didn’t use). The breakfast was good (a la carte) and the staff, especially Rhonda, was just great. And the beach was just a two minute walk from the hotel. Would highly recommend.

We like this Hilton very much. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean rooms with no carpet, 50 TV channels (including HBO), nice pool area (max 5ft.) and the best: just 200 feet from St. Augustine Beach tight on A1A. Only downside: If one has not a room with balcony one cannot open the windows - means no fresh ocean breeze in the room. Also, we couldn‘t understand what the resort fee ($21) is for this time of the season.

Everything for this stay was awesome! The room exceeded expectations and every employee that I encountered was very pleasant. It is very close to the ocean (just down a side street). It is within easy walking distance to a few restaurants and a couple ice cream shops. They are still doing construction, so there is no dinning area at the moment and the fitness center was not available. The construction did not affect our stay. The walls are not thin like some places, so you won't be stuck listening to your neighbors. I liked the place so much that I went ahead and booked the location for next month.
