The staff was all friendly. The air conditioning was not on when we got to the room. It was really hot. No garbage can in the bathroom, but it was clean.

Not a good stay.
Floor left black residue on feet and clothes. Door opens to parkinlot, noisy with traffic and people talking. Loud noises from upstairs.

I booked a room for 2 nights. Ice machine was broken. There was no plug for the bathroom sink. humid 90 degree weather no air conditioning in lobby or hallways. Returned for our 2nd night stay our keys did not work. Very nice receptionist rekeyed only to open room and someone else was in the room. We had left some belongings in the room and were told housekeeping didn't find anything in the room. They did move us to another room however we are still missing items left in the first room.

3rd time staying class reunion time
very nice stay check in was quick great staff stayed 2 nights saw several guests enjoying the pool .asked how it was and lol with the heat outside he said man what agreat time he had , hmm i know it sounds like a commercial but thats the truth--ed moran

Unfortunately, with limited options for hotels close to Pine Knob in our price range, this is what we settled on. I didn't have high expectations from the start but it was definitely worse than i anticipated. When we arrived an hour after check in, we were told our room "might be ready". We got to our room to find it still being cleaned, but were told it was finished? When we actually get into out room we discover that it is indeed not clean. we have to find someone to come finish cleaning while we wait. When we get back to our room 10 minutes later and see no one is in there, we assume it would be clean. It wasn't. At this point we give up and decide to just wear our shoes in the room and try not to touch too many of the surfaces. I know this is a budget hotel, but basic cleanliness should be a standard. There was also no extra pillows, blankets or toilet paper, and the air conditioner was rattling so loudly that we couldn't sleep. I wouldn't have stayed here for more than 1 night.

Ended up canceling due to the cleanliness issue. Mattresses were in very poor condition with regards to cleanliness. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.
