Lovely, tranquil, comfortable and peaceful accommodation, ideally located to explore the Vaucluse area. Super kind, interesting and welcoming hosts who do their utmost to give guests a great stay. Surrounded by vines, there are ample places and lots of space to relax in without being on top of other guests. The chateau is beautifully restored with modern comforts and stylish interiors. We stayed in a lovely room overlooking the pool and the vines. The two doubles next to our, each looking out on the vines, looked equally comfortable and suitably spacious. Eugenie's meals were delicious and excellent value. The nearby town offers useful amenities and other options for meals. We visited at the start of the grape harvest and despite being busy Benoit spared time to talk to us about their wine production.

Amazing place and amazing people. Wine was top quality:) food was bio and homemade which we didn’t try in a years. We have wine testing experience which was one of the best in my life.we thing to organize our wedding event next year at this beautiful place :))))

Incredible Valréas Stay
Loved our stay at Chateau Montplaisir! Our hosts were incredible friendly and the chateau is gorgeous, feeling like you’re walking into a piece of history. They recommended a beautiful walk for us to go on our first day. Our stay included delicious breakfasts served on their patio overlooking the pool and views of Valreas including fresh fruit, fresh-squeezed OJ, homemade jams and yogurt, croissants and baguette. Delicious tea and coffee as well! Additionally we had a wine tasting with Benoit who along with hosting us is the wine maker. All the wines we tasted were delicious and so we opted to buy a few bottles along with the homemade jams. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay at Chateau Montplaisir and want to go back!
