For the short stay that we had in Pittsburgh, this place was perfect for us. I love the fact that this was a trade school that's been turned into an awesome boutique hotel. Everything was just great. The valet parking attendants were very kind and helpful. The room we had was a great double room. Everything was top notch. I plan to return anytime. I need a place to stay in Pittsburgh.

Room was clean but tiny. No microwave or fridge in the micro rooms but that wasn’t a big deal. There is only valet parking and breakfast is an additional $16 per person, so there are extra costs. There are no ice machines so you have to go to the front desk to fill the ice bucket. The building was in wonderful shape and the restaurant/bar was ultra modern.

Great value for the price. I stayed three nights and didn’t get any housekeeping service during my day, which is fine for the price that I paid. The location was ideal, the bed was comfortable, and the rain showerhead was excellent. Between the coffee shop and bar on the ground floor and the rooftop bar, there are plenty of food and drink options without leaving the building. Of course, Butler Street and Lawrenceville is just steps away, so there are many options.

First off, the staff here is top notch! So accommodating and welcoming! We felt so at home here, so the minor details were just that:minor. Our room was fairly clean but there was a roach in the bathroom (alive) counter and a couple of the flat areas hadn't been wiped down as we saw cup marks. We can overlook these small deets bc the staff was so friendly. Thank you so much and God bless yall!

I’ll stay elsewhere next visit to Pittsburgh. The room was beat - needs paint, and a better mopping.
Their new thing is to not clean the room for 3 days with a secret “there’s a sign inside the room” nonsense. Certainly not indicated when they took my money online.

只有一个小问题——据说酒店实施了一项关于下午早些时候入住的新规定。经过6个小时的车程，我下午1:15才到，并要求办理入住手续。我以旅行为生，所以当我听说“提前”1.5小时拿到房间需要额外支付50美元时，我有点失望。我问了一下房间是否准备好了，得到的答复是可以的。所以，经过6个小时的车程，我的选择是要么在大堂坐一个半小时以上，要么支付50美元。我说，如果我想在早上9点左右入住，我理解。
退房时，Tryp 酒店的体验非常棒。
总的来说，作为匹兹堡的常客，我期待着再次光临，并强烈推荐这家酒店。
