Historic property which is understandable, but lot of water damage in the hallway ceilings. Room was okay, water damage signs on the wall and ceiling of the bathroom. I assume 2nd level had a plumbing issue and they put a patch in our room. The faux wood panel flooring kept buckling and snapping in place when you walk across, lot of scratch and gouge damages on the floor but it appears they move furniture around to cover it. Staff was friendly in person. Called the operator when we checked in as they have one phone handset but two docking stations, called to clarify this and operator answered by coughing in the phone and kept coughing as she explained the phones. I thought that was weird being a resort and how much people pay. We were put next to a live and cantina that played music until 11PM, so we found out the walls aren’t sound proof. Overall it was okay but I think I could’ve got a better experience elsewhere.

Really nice hotel with three golf courses. Only played two of the courses red and gold liked them both but gold was better. Nice room decent location lots to do locally. Several pools to use that were quiet as hotel seemed to have lots of conference people not families which was good for us. Would love to stay again one day.

Beautiful grounds and pool. Quiet, large room, view of the oasis pool…. had a lot of events going on at the resort, and still the staff was very attentive. Best açaí bowl I’ve had for breakfast :) lovely spa. A bit off the beaten path, don’t stay here if you want to be close to everything in Phoenix and Scottsdale, more of a retreat stay.

This resort is beautiful. Staff was great, especially at the restaurants. We’d definitely come back but request a different room.
The only downside was the shower in our room flooded the bathroom which was really unpleasant. It seems that the shower door didn’t seal so every shower resulted in standing water in the bathroom. If we stayed any longer than 2 nights it would have been intolerable.
