Our home is not large enough to house all our family when we have a celebration. The AmericInn is close by, it has an exercise room, a pool, a hot tub, good rooms, and offers a breakfast. It’s a great way to accommodate our big family when they come up to Iron Mountain to visit.

Great place to stay
We had a smooth and quick check-in. The double queen room offered plenty of space, with comfortable beds, a clean environment, and a wonderful hot shower. Breakfast and coffee were both satisfying, and the location made coming and going very easy.

The property is old and they have broken appliances stuffed in back entrances. Property also hard to navigate signage is terrible. This place I a maze. Went down to bar to have a drink was basically told they didn’t want us. Terrible experience just terrible

The hotel does have nice rooms, and is very quiet. The most annoying issue, which I have experienced all 4 times I have stayed there, is the front desk at check-in. There were computer issues multiple times, and the staff was slow, with no sense of urgency. The check-in process needs to streamlined so that it is much quicker, perhaps with room keys and check-in papers already set up for those with reservations. I think that the computers need to be upgraded with new hardware and software, and the staff trained better on how to move through the process more quickly.

Just ok
Great service, friendly check in (Rieta was great)
Seems a little out of date, musty a bit, and the ac wasn’t great. Also, breakfast left A LOT to be desired….
It was fine for a one night stay.

A good option for a family of five with a spacious suite room . Value was good for the area and time of year. Room had good amenities. Pool and spa were well maintained. Only downside was breakfast options were minimal.

It's fine.
Renovated rooms met most of our needs, but with a few small issues. The New window shade didn't roll all the way down, letting in too much light. A/C was strong and reasonably quiet, but the thermostat short-cycles a lot. Breakfast was okay - clean and tidy but limited fruit and noisy room.

What I think I love the most about this hotel was their patriotic theme. I loved the take a soldier in their lobby and all of the red white and blue. The rooms were great and the breakfast were awesome. There was a very nice lady there who was happy as could be at 6 o’clock in the morning and I appreciated that tremendously! We loved our stay there!

Very pleasant
This hotel is a nice place to stay. I expected it to be busy on the 4th of July weekend but it was a quiet and calm experience. The attendant was always cheerful and present. The room was spacious and clean. The only negative thing I noticed was the bathroom door stuck and didn’t shut all the way.
