Understnd this hotel serve railroad workers as their primary clientel. Safe, Clean, prompt check in but guys were checking in and checking out all night long so it can get noisy. Almost as nisy as the rats in the AC fan motor in the AC. I hsd to just turn in off. The bed was comfortable and nice pillows. t did the job of a quick overnight stay

No AC working
The stay at the hotel could not be completed. The ac unit that serves the room was out of service.
In the hot summer of Texas, we didn’t have ac in our room.
This huge inconvenient prevent us from staying at the property.

An older hotel that seems to have had a recent remodel. Nothing physically wrong with the properties just your basic no-frills side of the road motel. Good for a nice stay. Could use some basic improvements to make it more comfortable. Only thing really irritating is in the listing. There is a picture of the diner outside the property… This diner has nothing to do with the property. No breakfast is offered so you can hit the diner or the McDonald’s. At the price paid, there should have been breakfast for a voucher to the diner

Property needs updating, had I known there was a fairly new Holiday Inn nearby I would have rather had stayed there. The staff was great, but the hotel in general needs an overhaul. There was no dresser in the room, no toiletries offered, you can tell this is a place where all the out of town workers stay and it shows.

Mixed reviews about this trip: they messed up billing, and it took all week to straighten it out, but they did so. Having to go in even the last morning, though, was inconvenient. The people were super nice, but their accounting department having to get involved stunk.
Hotel is quiet (even with highway and in a railroad town) so soundproofing good, and real black-out curtains. Housekeeping has to be asked for, and is very inconsistent. My room was near an entrance, and the cigarette smell is awful. Air conditioning was good, bed was better than average, and water pressure and hot water good.
