Check in was easy. The room and bedding was clean. The hotel is a little older but they had obviously painted recently and put down new flooring. We loved having a room overlooking the lake. We even had a private seating area on the balcony. There is a dock behind the hotel with benches where people could dock boats and some of the guests had fishing rods and were fishing off the dock. It was nice to sit and watch the water at night. We enjoyed our stay and will stay there again next time we go to Guntersville.

Property was nice and location was perfect. Parking was a little tight. If your a light sleeper be sure you get a lake view room. There is a red light 40’ away and you will hear loud exhaust pipes that will wake you up if you stay street side. Great views and great food and staff. Will stay there again 😁

Our room had multiple spiders & spider webs. Had to kill 2 black widow spiders as soon as we got into the room. Alone the edge of the ceiling and wall were spider webs that looked to have been there a while. On the floor alone the edge of the bed, it looks like it has not been swept for a while. Staff was great. But we were told that because hotel is on a lake, they can’t do anything about the spiders. The room we stayed in had obviously had not been pro cleaned in some time. Changing the sheets and towels does not constitute a clean room.

It was ok, our bathroom door was a little tricky to shut.
Breakfast was cold and not that great. I would have thought that a Wyndham hotel would have been about and beyond exceptional. We ate breakfast once there and not again.

Room was very clean, staff was very friendly but if I stay again I would definitely get a room facing the lake because the traffic noise was very loud.
