Hot tub was cold not warm COLD. Along with very dirty. Went down to breakfast and scrambled eggs, biscuits an gravy, sausage were all empty. Room was clean and just as it should be. Were doing construction in hallway and the smell from the wallpaper glue was awful. Asked front desk about hot tub and got "Well if you can find the leak we can keep it hot and not fill it every day with the hose." And "We can't control when they do construction" lady in the breakfast area was super nice but said they don't staff enough people to be able to keep up with demand. Overall it was not a great experience, might suggest a call before booking to ask a few questions. Sure this can't be the case always.

The hotel was under remodeling, dry wall patching, removing door casings and painting and made it noisy and unappealing. For the money spent it should be a finished facility or at least given a heads up of the remodeling happening.

The staff was all very friendly, great breakfast and beds were very comfortable.

But I booked this hotel because it had a hot tub and the hot tub was broken for our trip. It was a bummer.

It was very noisy in our hallway (2nd Floor) We assume it was the workers who were renovating the rooms. I notified the front desk at midnight regarding the loud talking and laughing and it got quieter for about a half hour, then we were awoken to a young woman yelling at someone just outside our room for about 15 minutes. We were awake med at about 8 am by the sound of the workers down the hall. We were so tired from the interrupted sleep that it was hard to enjoy our visit to Frankenmuth the next day. Very disappointed. We will never stay at this hotel again. We feel that we should be reimbursed for the hotel cost or at least partially reimbursed for what we had to put up with.

Hotel is under construction/renovations. First room had no hot water. Room was handicapped accessible except the bathroom had one grab bar at the toilet and added on raised toilet seat. Toilet height was still low to the ground. Shower had to step over with doors if you could get the handicapped seat into it without grab bars or adjustable shower head. The mattress was either very old or extremely used. Springs across the mattress made sleeping difficult. Room was changed next morning to another handicapped room which was not accessible, comfortably, for a walker to get into the sleeping area. The bed and television/dresser stand were approx.34" apart. Bed could not be moved over. There was no sofa in the room, completely open area. Bathroom was better suited for handicapped needs except the toilet was low to the ground. Workers were working during the night and doors were being slammed throughout. Mattress in this room was better except, being handicapped, made climbing into it very difficult due to its height. The staff at the desk, the next morning had to call a supervisor due to 2nd day on the job alone as to how to make changes from one room to another. The staff was doing their best and polite but still should not have been difficult to make these changes.

Obviously being remodeled. I hope. Room was very nice. Hallway and main areas smelled old and musty. Elevator was beyond scary. Hot tub was lukewarm. Good variety for breakfast.

Room was horrible. Carpet was dirty, curtains torn. The jetted tub had duct tape or something as a repair. Bugs dead and alive all over the room. I was going to say shower was great, but water was cold. Guy at check-in was nice. Lady gave an "we are inconveniencing her" vibe. Stayed a couple years ago and we will not be staying again.
