The side of the hotel on the left side of the lobby, (on the side of the parking lot) is quite noisy caused by traffic or whatever machines from restaurants close by.

we returned from a day out in the adirondak about 10:40p and found ourselves locked out of our room. the locking mechanism had broke. they finally put us in another room about 90 minutes after the problem was reported, but we still couldn't go to sleep because we had prescription medications and a CPAP machine that was needed for sleep. they finally got the door open around 1 in the morning. i understand things happen that is out of expectations, but when you're waiting 2.5 hours just to get your medications so you can sleep and you're already exhausted can be incredibly frustrating. i thought we might get some credit to our account, but it was never offered. i shouldn't have needed to ask -- so i didn't. i wanted to see how the management would handle it. i was disappointed. the pricing was also significantly higher than most other places around. i realize ticonderoga is a small town, but it seems they use that to their benefit and take advantage of the lack of hotels in the area to gouge customers. lastly we had free Wi-Fi, but it was useless and rarely worked. i understand we were in the mountains and that plays a part of it. but don't tell customers the wi-fi works and again, set false expectations. i was very disappointed with our stay in Ticonderoga and will likely try to find alternatives in our next visit to that area. i WILL say the staff (while stressed by the situation) tried to be helpful.

Affordable, attractive property, with a log cabin feel, and a good location on the outskirts of town. Easy access to local attractions. A great stay.

Good for 2 nights
We were there 2 nights. The room was clean and functional. The bed very comfortable and we could watch the Yankees on TV. I did not know there was breakfast included so was surprised to see there was! But not really! Coffee and packaged muffins. McDonalds was next door... Ask for the 2nd floor. There were people above us that were very loud at awful times...

Just felt old and dirty. The floor in the room could not have been washed for God knows how long. Price was right. You get what you paid for. Never will being staying there again.

Great stay!
My husband and I stayed here for one night and I was surprised at how nice it was! The recent reviews I looked at were pretty harsh so I was worried but I didn’t have an issue.
One person mentioned stains on their carpet in their room but my room didn’t even have carpet. The beds were very comfy (especially compared to where I stayed the night before). Everything worked and was clean. The shower was a little old looking though and could use a clean/fix but overall very good for the price!
The staff was very kind when I saw them and the location is great (right by a McDonald’s, Dunkin and Walmart).
Only thing that was rough was the smell. The use glade plug ins or something in the hallway and if you have a sensitive sniffer like myself
It was a bit rough. I had to air out the room some. It wasn’t a bad smell, it was supposed to smell like that after all, but I’m sensitive to perfumes and scents. Recommend they cut back on some of those air fresheners.
Also loved that the windows opened a good amount! It was nice to get fresh air in and happy it didn’t only open a crack like most hotels
