The room was great and the breakfast was more than good. The personnel were very friendly and efficient. I would recommend for anyone looking for a good place to stay.

Sadly, the breakfast was the same as most all decent hotels as of late; waffles, sausage & eggs [they were awful]. Rooms were excellent with room to spread out. Parking was good. Staff: AWESOME! Dennis & Shirlee at front desk were very helpful in assisting us to find our way around The Villages, an unfamiliar area to us.

Staff was accomodating and tried to be helpful. Room smelled like old gym socks. Couch was torn and danaged, as well as bench. We checked in, changed and used bathroom, then went out. Came back to room used bathroom, no water in toilet. Were told there was no one available to fix toilet. Offered another, similar room on another floor, away from our large group, or a double queen room.

We took the queen room , moved all our stuff, despite it smelling of mildew. It was 61° and we could not get the ac to shut off, and the door was jammed, had to struggle to open it. Meanwhile the front desk clerk came up and said the valve had been shut off on our toilet, it was fixed, and I hauled our stuff back to the original. Not far but a lot of stuff. Room appeared clean, and bed was comfortable, but furniture was damaged and it smelled terrible.

The first night I was put in a room that had been numbed for pests, cockroaches . The chemical smell was unbearable . And I had to kill a cockroach in the bathtub . Since it was after midnight ai stayed in that room due to being too tired to deal with it. The next morning the staff switched my room and they were very nice about it .

I do think they should refund that first night. Since ai booked through you I am asking you to get it refunded .

Excellent accommodations! Beautiful and very clean room and facility. Breakfast was delicious with variety from day to day! Staff was courteous, approachable and friendly. Strongly recommend for short or long term stay.
