Busted Elevator Made for a Not-So-Nice Stay
Two issues really impacted my stay.
#1. I work for UT Health San Antonio, and this was a business trip for a cycling event we hosted on 10/18. I asked if the sales tax could be removed from my bill. The desk clerk explained that since I booked the trip through a third party, I couldn't have the tax removed. I submitted a sales tax exemption letter and never received any indication that this would be an issue.
#2 The elevator was not working, and I had to carry heavy equipment for my event up, and I had to make THREE TRIPS UP THREE FLIGHTS of stairs, and then make THREE TRIPS DOWN THREE FLIGHTS of stairs.
This will be the last time I stay at the Holiday Inn

Room needed repairs and walls are very thin! You could hear everything outside the room waking us up in the middle of the night. Bathroom fixtures need to be replace as toilet seat was broke and corrosion on a lot of things in the room. We were out in the 3rd floor and the elevation didn’t work and we were not offered any kind of discount considering we paid double the normal rate due to holiday weekend! We will never be back or stay at Holiday Inn again as this seems to be norm with our Holiday Inn stays in the past too.

The breakfast service and the culinary expertise of the Hispanic chef were commendable. The hotel's cleanliness and overall condition were also of a high standard.

Friends Weekend
We were in Floresville for the weekend for a memorial and visiting with family friends. The stay and the friendliness was outstanding and we will stay there again. The only thing I wish for next time was the shower pressure, but everything else was great!

The trash cans outside were full both days. Our toilet seat kept sliding and it was missing a bolt.
