Nasty, dirty, false advertising, rude staff. Struggled to get there during a storm Easter weekend, pull in around midnight and left 7 minutes later. I was going to tough it out dealing with the odor and dust for 1 night but the big roach in the room was my tipping point. Manager was argumentative saying no one has ever said the rooms were dirty but there's obvious reviews before mine and a low rating to prove what I'm saying is true. I ended up staying at a different hotel, which happened to be lovely.

BED BUGS! I stayed at Travelodge by Wyndham Ozona (Room 121) on February 2, 2025 and saw a live bed bug in my bed. I woke up with bites and later confirmed it was bed bugs. Despite reporting this issue, the hotel denied the infestation, but I have video evidence of a bed bug in my own home just a days later. I took extreme precautions after leaving the hotel, yet still ended up with bed bugs, meaning this location has a serious infestation. The hotel refused to take responsibility and only offered a discount on a future stay instead of addressing the issue. 🚫 If you stay here, you risk bringing home bed bugs, which are extremely hard and expensive to get rid of. The hotel staff ignored my complaint and failed to properly inspect or exterminate the room. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Texas Health Department and Wyndham Corporate about this serious issue. DO NOT STAY HERE! #BedBugs #HotelWarning #TravelodgeOzona #WyndhamHotels

Mostly single-story motel (has an upper floor for a few rooms, it seemed). The bathrooms definitely appear to have been updated; everything was contemporary and in good working order. Very clean room. Definitely will stay here again on my next trip through the area. The highway noise is likely unavoidable for any hotel in Ozona but it's not really bad anyhow. The only down side was that there was no breakfast or even coffee, that I was aware of, in the lobby. At check-in while in the lobby, it didn't appear to have any accommodation for breakfast/coffee and the manager did not mention it either. Since I was leaving real early the next day, it wasn't a huge deal but it would have been nice to be able to grab a hot cup and a muffin or something.
