Very clean end good staff. Friendly and helpful. Like most motels there's never enough lighting in center of room's. There are three lights and all are small and light up the walls but very little light in center of room. Wife and I are getting up in age and need more lighting.

The personnel, the Lovely Lady, was just a great friendly person. I do stay at Motel 6 often, because it's been inexpensive, now it's overpriced. This #6 in Alvin was in a better condition than the College Station.

The fridge didn't cool at all then we saw several roaches in the room. The beds felt gritty like they had not been washed and the worst was the toilet. It didn't flush right and kept overflowing. We called the front desk and it took all day for them to fix it and we finally got to go back just to find the toilet still not flushing right. We were not happy but they refused to give us another room.

I never checked in because at the window was a ring camera and the guy that finally started talking to me over it was clearly lazy and didn't want to come to the actual window to check me in. I felt unsafe standing outside talking to him over the ring camera so I left.

For the price it works!

Budget friendly and will stay again. However, the toilet had a small leak causing bathroom floor to get wet, was past tenants trash under the bed, and housekeeper half way made the bed every day…. It was still untucked and balled up when we would return every evening…. 3 pillows on a king bed is a little odd as well but nothing we couldn’t make work.
