This room was just horrible. Floor dirty with chunks of something stuck in places, wall had holes and or paint literally peeling off, toilet didnt flush had to open the top to wiggle the water thing to fill, hair in the shower drain, bed sheets had alot of burn holes. TV was all grainy on all channels. If indidnt travel for 15 hrs that day, i would of left. Area is especially sketchy.

Good Stay for working trave at an Affordable Value
I travel to Alexandria frequently for work & stay at the Motel 6-Studio 6 on McArthur Drive. Rooms are spacious, clean & sanitized. It gives off cozy vibes like an extended-stay home away from home on an affordable budget. Can't beat the price! Parking lot has lots of lights & security cameras. It's easier to see your vehicle & you feel safe during your stay. The managers & staff arewell approachable, people-oriented, children-friendly & are always available to help you address your concerns. I enjoy those random conversations over hot coffee. Located close to everything...convenient stores, shopping, restaurants, hospitals, dental offices & the like. On those long tired days, when you just don't feel like dining-out, you can order in from the menu provided in your room.

A Returning Customer
It's nice to stay at a place where the atmosphere feels welcoming & staff greet you with a smile & great service upon your return. The rooms are clean & comfortable. Safe for repeated working travelers. Parking lot provides much light. Management is awesome. I woukd rather not stay anywhere else.

1st room: bed wasn’t made, room hadn’t been cleaned
2nd room: filthy
3rd room: BLOOD stains on the pillows!
Our only other option was to sleep in our car. So we slept in our clothes on top of the blankets and used the towels that we had to go get(none in the room) as a pillow.
The ONLY good thing was that the staff refunded us our money for the 4 nights we had originally reserved.

Was it black mold or severely dirty?
One will never know. Do not stay here. The room reeked of insecticides. The shower sprayed everywhere but down and was completely filthy.

Frequent Guest at Motel 6
Traveling for work, I find myself back in Alexandria, Louisiana. It's good to know you can stay in a hotel where you are recognized, well-known by staff, & feel safe around familiar faces. This is how I feel staying at Motel 6.
