Worst experiences
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Last night, I told the desk assistant that I needed to leave early due to a family emergency and asked if I would get a refund. She told me yes. The next morning, not only did the hotel refuse to refund me, but while my family and I were eating breakfast, a staff member stared at us the entire time, making us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome.
As a Black family, it felt like we were being singled out, which is completely unacceptable. Between being misled about the refund and being made to feel uncomfortable during breakfast, I will never return to this hotel and do not recommend it to anyone.

The room was filthy. The sheets and carpet had stains. The air conditioning unit had mold and caked on dust on and in it. The mold was so bad it triggered an asthma attack.

This motel looked nothing like it did in the picture. The room smelled of cigarettes when we first entered. Then smelled of pot when we re-entered after dinner. Everything looked worn and shabby.

Nasty sticky stinky
The room does not match the description and photos I saw upon booking.
2 star hotel (your rating online) is an overstep, and I'm doubtful of an 8.5 out of 10 customer rating..
Here's why-
Immediately smells like an ashtray.
Holes in the walls. Paint falling off. Some kind of substance stuck to the ceiling.
Stains and piles of dirt in the ground - worst of all in the bathroom..
Towels are unfolded and crumpled into their cubby.
I don't trust this place is clean, which makes me scared to even pull the covers back.
Ultimately, this room is unacceptable.

Property was recently updated. Room was very clean and comfortable. There was no closet so we had to hang shirts by one hook but we mad do.
