Place looks condemned as soon as you pull up! Grass and weeds 6 feet tall. Bugs in our room. Weird guy walking around banging on doors and windows of room. Staff didn’t seem too concerned. Safety was areal concern. We got in about 12 am and left before 7.

Noisy, bad neighborhood. Not sure what was going on in the hallways all night but we got very little sleep. Wanted to go out to eat, but we were fearful of leaving any valuables in the room. Did not stay for breakfast.

Check-in process was very easy and the staff was great! It's a good hotel given the price you pay and the breakfast was pretty good! The room decor leaves a little to be desired as well as the upkeep of the rooms but as far as cleanliness I would give it an A+.

The online description and pictures of this place are extremely deceiving. I messed up. I wouldn’t book here again even after a full refund. I wanted to cry upon pulling the parking lot. Just kept apologizing to my spouse. Thank god it was only $79. We were only there 6 hours and left so early to get the hell out of that hotel and Kansas City. Live and learn

Not bad but needs work on being brought up to better level. Felt run down and generally in need of updating in most areas of guest comfort and satisfaction. Front desk person at check in was indifferent to handicap needs and apathetic in general. Acted like it was a challenge to greet guests. Also very difficult to understand due to language barrier.

I reserved a king suite, and was checked into a regular king room with no refrigerator, no microwave, no coffee pot, not even a table to sit my bag on. The mattress in that room you could feel the springs in it. Upon complaining to the staff, they eventually moved us to a regular king room Where the bathroom door look like it has been kicked in. There were other problems with the room as well. However, it was a better bed in that room. They charge me a $200 convenience fee upon check in. When I ask, why so much, they explained that I would receive it back, which didn’t answer my question. I did receive my deposit back after four days.

The staff is friendly. However, the building is not maintained. There are bugs and the food sucks if they were to clean the hotel up a bit that would not be enough. The hotel needs to have some updates to everything but the staff

The La Quinta website says this hotel has a hot breakfast. It does not. Considering the advertised hot breakfast was a large factor in my decision to book here, I was exceptionally disappointed when I arrived and the paperwork said grab and go. Grab and go was what it was the next morning. Overall, it's acceptable for the price. I probably won't choose to stay again, but not because there were any other specific problems. Further, the website indicates the hotel has been recently renovated. Renovations in progress or some renovations, would be more accurate. Our room had been partially renovated and was nice enough. The bed was actually pretty good. New flooring in the bathroom. The hallways were so irretrievably stained as to be very off-putting and I'm usually pretty understanding for a hotel room at $100/night price point. They need to put some money into the common area carpets. The front desk staff was friendly and apologetic for the lack of amenities advertised. The rest of the staff was mostly just okay. They were barely courteous. We experienced a situation where a dog had just urinated in the elevator. It was a very large dog and a lot of urine. The staff member who must have been discussing the situation with the owner, never mentioned I might want to wait until it was cleaned or consider the stairs. He let me get on the elevator without saying a word. It was exceptionally rude.

Located close to the interstate. Pretty accessible to almost everything. Lots of food options nearby. Friendly budget stay. Can be considered as a place to stay if you are looking for something in budget. Friendly staff.
