The motel building is older but the rooms are totally remodeled and are excellent. I recommend this location for an overnight stay.

My family has been attending Tuskegee’s Homecoming for at least 5 decades and at least for the last 2 decades, we have been extremely happy with our accommodations. The staff is always responsive and they treat us like family. The rooms are clean and well maintained and we look forward to continuing our tradition for many years to come.

We stayed at this hotel recently. Affordable price and good check-in. They let us do an early check-in, like an hour or two before normal check-in. However when we went to the room, the room wasn’t ready. When we came back to the room around 1:30am to get settled and start taking showers, our son noticed the sheets on his bed were dirty. Then it went to the pillows. We convinced him it was only the top sheet and a few pillows. Nope it was all pillows except one. The towels near the sink were dirty. The room wasn’t swept or mopped. The next morning during checkout, we bought our concerns to the person at the counter. He questioned us instead trying to solve the problem. We asked to speak to a manager. He stated the manager wouldn’t be in until later but would have him call us. A week later and no call.

Do NOT stay here! We had to leave shortly after check in due to the room being uninhabitable. It was heavily contaminated with cigarette smoke and rar build up. The odor was so strong that it made us sick. Nowhere on our booking did it state it was a smoking room. We immediately notified the front desk and were unable to stay because the environment posed a health hazard. He stated there were no other rooms available and refused to give us a refund. It was disgusting and the health depth needs to be made aware.

Rooms were small but cute and clean. Had clean sheets, towels, etc. No,breakfast is not hot, its packaged danishes, muffins, instant grits & oatmeal, small boxes of cereal, etc but its free. The coffee thats offered with breakfast was good. There is a gas station right next door that sells hot breakfast. We opted for the free stuff and it wasnt bad at all. There is no pool, its been filled in, that didnt matter to us, we werent there for that. The people at the front desk were super friendly and helpful. Id definitely stay there again.

I was reluctant to book a room here because Shorter, AL does not have many options. It was the closest we could find to Auburn when everything we saw was so expensive. This Days Inn has recently been renovated and our room was very nice and clean, even the bathroom. I would definitely stay here again if I have to.

The sheets had some light stains, but were clearly clean. I could have requested new ones, and I’m sure they would have given them as they were very helpful otherwise. The AC was strong and cooled the room quickly, and the room and bathroom were both very clean. Overall a great experience for what it was, a quick place to rest for the night with no frills. The concierge upgraded our room to no smoking for a small fee and was very quick to get us settled in.
